Tara Strong vs. Big Red Guy, Part 2: Deja Vu All Over Again · 2:29am May 13th, 2014
DIDJA SEE THAT AWESOME MLP SEASON 4 FINAL EPISODE?!? DIDJA? DIDJA?
DIDJA SEE HASBRO GO OUT ON A LIMB AND GIVE US SOMETHING TOTALLY UNIQUE THAT WE'VE NEVER EVER SEEN BEFORE?
GET THIS: Brilliant purple magic user voiced by Tara Strong is dismayed at the ludicrous amount of power she's been granted (manifested in a Super Saiyan transformation) for the purpose of fighting the Big Bad, who is a giant red musclebound brute with horns and fangs and white hair and white beard and black armor and horse legs. TOTALLY UNIQUE, RIGHT?!?
Wait, no, the other brilliant purple magic user voiced by Tara Strong who is dismayed at the ludicrous amount of power she's been granted (manifested in a Super Saiyan transformation) for the purpose of fighting the Big Bad, who is a giant red musclebound brute with horns and fangs and white hair and white beard and black armor and horse legs...
I know I can't be the first one to notice this. I just can't be bothered to Google to find out who thought of it first.
heheheh
EDIT: Tried and true though the plot and action sequence was, I still enjoyed it and got quite the hearty laugh out of spotting the reference shot from frame to frame.
I can't tell if this is a satirical complaint or a simple observation being shared.
In hasbro's defense, they had it first.

At least Tirek isn't Twilight's evil father using her as a portkey to gain access to her dimension to try and fuck it over like Trigon did to Raven.

Great episode, absolutely. No major complaints. Just thought it was worth a side-by-side.

True, minus the purple Tara Strong,

That's what he'd like us to think...
This doesn't tell us anything we didn't already know: Jayson and Meghan are geeks.
