From Me to Thee

A momentous occasion passed recently: I have surpassed one hundred followers! In fact, at the time of posting, my follower count stands at one hundred and eight, which may sound… well, low, to some people, but for me, it’s kind of a big deal. Easily the most support I’ve ever received for anything I’ve ever done, and I want you all to know that it means a huge, huge amount to me. And I wanted to celebrate by sharing something with you all.

Firstly though, a quick note about The Morning After, which is the upcoming sequel to Scotchtavia: I have fleshed out a basic storyline, roughly decided how the events in it will transpire, and have written the first three quarters of it. It’s slow progress, but rest assured, this chapter in the house of Vinyl and ‘Tavi will be one to look out for, one that will be out very soon, and I can confirm to you all that it will actually be the second story in a trilogy. And part three may get a bit… explosive. Not literally, but emotionally.

As for those (admittedly few) of you who were around before Scotchtavia, and were following me for my Hunger Games fic, I know it's been a while since the last update. Scotchtavia was released as an attempt to kickstart my inspiration for writing again. While this was successful, it failed to fix my major problem of what is really holding me back: the lack of time to write. And considering that currently A Morning After is currently highest in demand, that will take priority for now. Once that is out, I will dedicate a bit of time to First Blood, and if I get the chance, give Wonderbirds some much needed tlc. After that, Scotch fans, part three of what I'm dubbing 'The Scotch Trilogy' will be the big plan.

Now that's all dealt with, the closest (for now at least) you will all get to knowing what I look like:

The photo above is of my tattoo, on my right arm. The butterfly is a symbol of one of the more painful chapters of my life, and it reminds me every day of what makes life worth living. The song title is easily my favourite song of all time, and is one that I listen almost daily, one that always cheers me up when I’m feeling down, and one that helps me remember that light can shine in the darkest of moments.

There is a story behind this tattoo, a long story that lacks the happy ending I wish for with every day that goes by. But maybe it is a story that is best saved for another time. I don’t wish to sound depressing when I’m celebrating, after all.
