Before I begin, I want to thank you all for your support up to this point and for taking my poor sense of humor in stride this April Fools. I know I'm weird and stuff, so thanks for sticking around this long! It really means a lot to me!
And now, onto the news!
Becoming Whole Update: In the Works!
Any of you who message or keep tabs on me know that College Football is in Spring Semester and so I am firing all pistons just trying to keep up with the workload. Thankfully, this weekend allowed me a much needed respite in the form of an Offense versus Defense scrimmage and a visit from my parents as I had reached my breaking point of stress and non-good-ness. I even got to watch all of Kill La Kill, which had been on my list of anime shows to watch for some time now. Don't know what I'm talking about? Well, thats probably for the best. It is one of those, "Turn off you mind and look at the short skirts and pretty explosions" kinda anime, but I really needed that to be honest.
What does this have to do with Becoming Whole? Well, had I watched this prior to writing the April Fools chapter, we would be having a VERY different conversation right now in which half of you would be requesting a full on spin-off as a collaboration with shortskirtsandexplosions just so that we have that name tagged on there somewhere. Anyway, since I needed to take the weekend to myself, the new chapter of Becoming Whole only has the basic premise down and I have yet to sit down and come up with a preliminary draft. After I get around to that, I go through for basic edits and then submit. Hopefully these projects that I am working on will go rather smoothly and I will have some stress-free time to write for you guys!
A Tale of Two Sisters: Currently Drafting!
Taking inspiration from the latest slew of MLP episodes, I would like to make a series of short stories regarding several pairs of sisters in a deeply bonding/defining moment of their relationship. The sisters I would like to feature and the events that I cover are as follows:
- Celestia and Luna: Luna's return
- Applejack and Applebloom: Getting the news of their parents' deaths from the perspective of Applejack
- Rarity and Sweetie Belle: Sweetie Belle's first date goes badly
- Pinkie and Maud: A day on the rock farm from Maud's perspective since I do not think I could accurately portray Pinkie's thought procce- SQUIRREL!
While these are just ideas I am coming up with, I would like to know if you guys would like to see something like this in the future, or if you have any suggestions for stuff you guys want me to write. I'm always happy to listen to your input.
Project Harbinger: Episode 1 Release Date (somewhat) Confirmed!
So, do you guys remember a long time ago when I told you I was doing some voice overs for a friend of mine about a year ago? Yea, me neither, but we finally have a release date for it! Sorta… Kinda… Maybe… Probably… Anyway, the date is May 2nd, and I can't wait to see what the boys at the lab have cooked up!

Kill la Kill is one of the best animes I've watched. I don't judge shows on appearance. I judge them by their characters, story (and its pacing), and etc. I guess that's why I love MLP FiM too.
