Thank you. As you can see, I'm not the most talented artist around (nor am I the most skilled writer)
but, your story left it's mark on me, and I wanted to take some time to make something based on it.

I am glad that you like them. and, I hope at least one has become your favorite.
(mine is the one where Celestia is feeding "Onyx", I think it turned out better than the other ones.)

Really??, I've often worried I made Celestia's head too big in that one.

Still, my initial muse for that was The Jungle Book
namely when Bagheera the black panther carried the wrapped up infant Mowgli to the wolf pack.

the situation of the image is Celestia carrying Onyx in a similar way..and, giving a glare as a warning to any possible hostiles.

It was also the very first drawing in my Mama Celestia series.

Luckily, I already have a good idea on what Celestia would do if Onyx was seriously hurt by somebody.

as this excerpt from 'The Monster of Canterlot' shows..

the skies turned black. Not figuratively black either, genuinely black. Storm clouds raced in out nowhere and spiraled above them and roared with deafening thunder.

“It’s too late. She’s here.” Twilight looked despairingly up at the brilliant burst of light. The others followed her view and saw the most furious alicorn they have ever seen.

“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!” The Royal Canterlot Voice was not something anypony was used to hearing, and now it was the last thing anypony wanted to hear. When Celestia touched down, the ground trembled beneath her hooves. She trotted over to me as all but Twilight stepped back to give her room. When she saw what had been done, her eyes shone white and tears formed but were evaporated instantly.

“Princess, I don’t understand,” Rarity started.

“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?!”

“W-we chased him outa town,” Rainbow began to explain. “We thought he was a mon-”

If it weren’t for Twilight being so quick to raise her shield, they may have had to bury Rainbow Dash in the trench that she undoubtedly would have dug with her own body. Celestia had just tried to strike her.

“MY SON! IS NOT! A MONSTER!” Celestia glared with still glowing eyes, daring anypony to say anything else.

Be happy "a look" is all Celestia does..you don't won't the Sun Princess seriously angry at you.
