    Sometimes, I hate FIMfiction.

I post about an Amber Alert in a group. My only replies are "Wat" and "H'okay, calm down and leave the investigation to the police there, Batman. We aren't the Emergency Broadcast System.

    Countdown

Four days. Four days until I'm 26. With my birthday coming up soon, I figure I should find a way to thank you guys for being so patient while I update nothing. Unfortunately, my writer's block is still here. So, while I can't promise an update to ASOT, I can promise a oneshot story to help me get back in the writing rythm. And if it's not out by my birthday on the 24th, it'll be out in time for

So, what have I been doing since my Writer's Block came?

Training. But not just any training, Pokemon Training. I've gotten really good at training my pokemon, too. I've managed to sweep OU and Uber teams, despite what I have on mine. Granted, some of it is luck, but it's mostly skill. Here, let me show you my team.

First guy you're gonna see is Wayne, my Crobat.

An announcement, and an apology. · 1:20pm Apr 1st, 2014

There's no easy way to say this, so I'll just come right out and say it. After careful consideration, I've decided to revoke my co-author status for the Geoverse.

This decision wasn't made lightly, as there are several reasons for this. The first of which is that I feel under-appreciated. Let's face it, the Geoverse probably wouldn't be what it is without me. Hell, A Season of Terror is my brainchild, and I've written most of it. Yet, GeodesicDragon is the one getting all the followers. Now don't get me wrong, I don't blame Geo, and I haven't discussed my decision with him, yet. But he knows and acknowledges that I don't get the credit I deserve, and I hope he'll understand. I think, maybe, if A Season of Terror were on MY account rather than his, that would actually work better, since I'm the one writing most of it.

Second of all, the creative fire for the Geoverse is dying down within me. Even if I was getting credit for my contributions, I don't think I'd be able to continue the story simply for the fact that I've lost interest in the created universe as a whole. The entirety of the Geoverse simply doesn't appeal to me anymore, and because of that, I don't feel motivated enough to write for it. And as I've mentioned to Geo, it doesn't help that so many people are saying things like "needs more updates" and "WHEN ARE YOU GONNA UPDATE AGAIN?!?!" and such. That puts me off so hard, and creates unwanted pressure to get a new chapter published, and I can't work well when so many people are getting impatient with me.

Thirdly, because everything is in threes, I feel I need to focus on my own works. I don't want to be in Geo's shadow forever, and I want to focus on the stories I put out. Because of this, I wanna cut out the stories that I do not have full creative control over. I want to make my mark using my own work, and I don't wanna be known as "the guy who co-authors Geo's stories." It's been a fun ride, but it's time I strike out on my own. I've learned a lot going into this, and I think it's about time I put these skills to use.

So some of you might be wondering, "What does this mean for the Geoverse?" Well, firstly, it means I'm handing over full control of A Season of Terror to Geo. I leave it in his capable hands to write his own chapters, and publish them, however, I'm also revoking the rights to my character, Dr. Ace Sorou. Now, I don't wanna give anything away, but due to this decision, this unfortunately means (spoiler alert) Ace is going to die. There is no happy ending here, but I hope you understand that if Geo doesn't have the rights to my character, then he can't use him. I have an outline set for the story, and I hope he does well with it.

Finally, I'm well aware of today's date. To prove how serious I am about this, I'm leaving the Geoverse Group, and editing my profile to reflect my decision. I think it's time to move on.

Edit: So, yeah. This blog's staying up.
