I think a friend of mine put it best when he said that "Zecora must be thunder-nuts hard to write for." Yes, she is. She most certainly is.
I sincerely apologize for both the length of the wait and the chapter itself, though one might take solace in the latter because of the former. So much had to occur to make Chapter 3 work, and I found myself adding more than initially intended. Then a flood of graduate work interrupted the chapter's progress for about a week; however, I do think the break from the story helped me finish off the chapter. Still, I wish it had gotten done sooner.
Looking ahead, the next chapter should be significantly shorter, yet no less interesting and fun (I hope). Chapter 3 marks the transition from shifting the story to Equestria to having all the pertinent parties meet. From now on, you can look forward to ponies and Avengers in the same place. But don't worry -- a lot remains to be seen.
