So, I'm in Saint Augustine for a three day vacation. The bad news is I'm a little behind on chapter eight; I had a local convention this weekend. The good news is that my wife drove the entire time on our trip up so that I could write for hours. I'm at almost three thousand words thanks to dear Mistypaw. I should have it done by Thursday, at which time I give my pre-readers a few days to pick it apart.
This is the last chapter before the contest ends; chapter nine shall be the festival! This means you have until about New Year's to catch the most references in the first five chapters. The current total is seven! Winner gets their reasonable (not cyborg ninja) OC pony.
Also, I'm 75% done with a one-shot story about Celestia. If anyone could point me in the direction of a good picture of a sad Celestia I'd be appreciative. If anyone's interested in being a pre-reader, message me.
Speaking of requests, does anyone know a good place to get instrumental versions of Buffy musical songs I could link to? This may have something to do with a future chapter....
