Luna's Story Trilogy Complete · 2:43pm May 18th, 2012
Hello Everypony!
Welp, it's finally done. I finished out Luna's Story 3, and now the trilogy is over. I hope you guys had as much fun reading it as I did writing it. I've been doing this trilogy since April 15th, 2012, and now its May 18th, 2012. A little over a month writing one huge story. What a beast! Luna is best pony. :3
I had a lot of fun including some of my commenters right into the story like Melancholy, NotATree, Pen Maker (especially him), and so on. Some of you had names I really couldn't make into pony names, but I did my best. Panzer Hoof and Hammershot were made up by me, but hey, it was a lot of OC's as it was, I didn't wanna get too crazy with them. Stories that run on too many OC's tend to drift away from being fan fictions, and over towards independent works that just use the same universe.
I'd like to give special thanks to my top commenters Luna Eclipse, Fellstorm, BasstheBrony, Equestriagirls, Sneakyfoxx, TheTwilightSpark, Macilnar, DJThomp, Ninjamanx, and ESPECIALLY Trufla for all their wonderful comments and suggestions. And also to anyone I didn't mention that left comments as well, you're the best! You guys know I am a comments whore, and eat them like potato chips. Makes me write faster, y'know. *3*
What am I gonna write next? Well, I'm not sure. I'm prolly gonna take a few days off and rest my poor typing hands. Soak up the glory of knowing I finished out a whole trilogy about Princess Luna and the Lunar Stallions. Stuff like that. When I return, we'll see what I can cook up, eh? :3

I still can't get over the idea of a pony named Panzer Hoof. That's just fracking awesome, as is getting a mention in a sweet ass story by someone who inspired me to write myself!
It's all rather much.
As for using too many OC's, I can appreciate what you mean but I think that the point of a fanfiction is to be a labour of love for the world you're using. Just using the world its self and the principles it lives on is a massive statement of that love, so I feel it's still a fanfiction regardless.
So thank you for sharing that love with us, so we could bask in it, revel in it and take part in it. Through it was can all share in the magic of friendship.
Speaking of Panzer Hoof and other stories, would you mind if I borrowed him for a new story I'm writing about my own style of guards? I simply loved him!

121781 Will do! I'm writing the first chapter now, so it should be up in a day or two. It's an idea I got after writing a one shot after I got an idea from a comment on my main story. If that made sense. Suffice to say that in my big story we all had a good laugh at some silly things some guards did in one scene and it kinda spiralled from there. Mine are much less disciplined than yours, so the idea of a pony built like a tank tickled me no end!
I will definitely drop credit where it's due, and look forward to you having a look when it's done.
Can't wait to read whatever you write next.

kinda sad that lunas story has ended and i really wish it didnt have to
. one of the best on this site in my opinion, but, all good things must come to an end. cant wait for your next story and i hope it will be as good as this. maybe better.

BUT on the happy side of things, it really was a fantastic trilogy, and I looked forward to every update with great anticipation. This will definatly be a set of stories that I read and re-read for years to come.

What did you think of your little sub-plot, Pen Maker? I didn't really ask what pony race you were, your gender or your preference of colts/mares-- but you ended up with a much bigger part than I originally planned, haha.
