A few things about A Filly Called Pet, progress, upcoming, and the new episode. (because I can) · 9:35pm Feb 22nd, 2014
Right so since most of you are probably here about A Filly Called Pet, I'll start with that.
I had the next chapter almost ready to go, and then I read this blog post by the ever talented Viking ZX. Hit me right between the eyes.
Basically it's about character development, something which after reviewing my outline(s) with a critical eye, I found to be lacking.
Pet? I didn't know who she was/is? I mean, who she really was/is. Her character devo is almost non existent. The story is decent right now but I DO NOT want a pity sue driven feels trip, with nothing but "undt then Pet was sad, and now you're sad, undt the wheels on the bus go round n round" for the whole time.
Nope, not happening while I am still Templar. I don't want to be simply a "good enough" writer, I want to be a great one.
Basically, Pet's on a bit of hold while I overhaul the current line of plot. But to be honest considering I've been releasing a pitiful >2k chapter every month for a while some of you may not even notice the delay. No changes will be made to current chapters, only future chapters.
Some might say that I am being too much of a perfectionist, but I say that I am merely preventing a train full of people and characters I have created from crashing into a ravine in an inglorious plume of smoke and fire.
As a minor consolation prize, I have a short feel good story about Winona coming in a day or two. (no darkness, no death, no tears)
So that's that. If you're only here for AFCP then I suppose you're free to go...
Anyways, for those who care and maybe are from A moment of Peace.
Moment of Peace, I have some stuff ready (well, no editors have seen it yet) but I want to either have the whole thing done, or at least half of it. For those of you who don't know, I'm not just writing a second chapter/epilogue for the original one-shot but a huge monster of a project. A Moment of Peace is just that, a single moment in a veritable storm of events. I don't want to release until it's all ready because if I fell behind on this one the waits would be unbearable.
Right, so aside from that in the upcoming section we also have the following subject matter. (in no particular order)
Scootaloo, Scootalove, Changelings, Top Gun flying montage.
Human, Knight, Loyal Soldier, Dark Wizard, Innocents
Negotiations, SRU, SWAT, don't jump, team dynamics
So yeah, that's what's coming. Though I want to finish up Pet first or at least regain some momentum on it. I was intentionally vauge. If you want more info on any of those feel free to ask in the comments.

Twilight is now waifu based solely on the way she eats burgers.

But really, CMC get an episode, Twilight gets kinda an episode, SqueakPip is back, Spike can make nachos, so really we all win.
