Featured! Uh-buh-WHUH!? O_o · 4:10am May 15th, 2012
Hello Everypony!
I'm pleased to report that apparently one of my stories was featured today! Cool huh? I was at work all day, so I didn't get to see it, but with several comments confirming I can only assume it was so! I know its the product of a formula the site runs, not that I was picked by an admin or anything. But it is a seriously high honor, I would think! I came home from work today to find 173 new notifications waiting for me, and about choked on my soda. Whoa!
"Tough Love: Celestia vs. Luna" apparently made it up onto the little ticker there at the top of your screen. Seriously cool! I was flooded with favs, comments, and apparently some sort of debate/comment war went on too. That was fun to read. You guys know I am a comment whore, that I am powered by comments and they make me write faster. So you can imagine how happy I was to come home to such a treasure trove after a long day at work. *3* ((Okay, I admit I was a liiiiiiittle disappointed it wasn't one of my "Luna's Story"'s, but being featured is mega-cool either way!))
By the way, with Luna's Story 3 coming to a close soon, do you guys have any serious requests you'd like me to write about? I've got almost 150 watchers now, I'd be willing to take a request here and there if you come up with a fun idea! Just make sure its something non-cliche, and not too dark/gorey. I've never written serious clop, but might consider. Other than that, go at it! I'd love to see what you guys might think up for me! With the "Seeing the Pattern" series done and "Luna's Story" nearly complete, I don't wanna run out of steam. I'm gonna do my part to help my community through the pony drought, and see us all through the summer!

As for where to turn your talents as a talespinner next, I'm curious just how thoroughly you plan on wrapping up everything with the end of Luna's Story 3. It would seem to me that unless there's a terminal solution involved for the problem that Luna and the Equestrian guard forces are facing, there's going to be a ton of fallout after the fact and plenty of plot strings floating about that ought to offer your Muse inspiration for a future story or story line. Frankly, though, with your talent for giving Luna and your other characters such engaging personalities and activities, I'd probably be quite content just reading a story where she and the entire Lunar Guard get together to celebrate one of the holidays from Ancient Equestria that fell out of favor after Nightmare Moon wrecked Luna's side of the court calendar. After all, you can't tell me that there weren't at least a few holidays other than Nightmare Night intended to be presided over by the Princess of the Night that were dropped like rotten apples after Nightmare Moon made her bid for power.
Grats on making the featured box! Now I can be all hipster and be like "I watched Aegis Shield before it was cool" anyway I love ALL your fictions! You are an amazing writer!
As for a request mine would be a story about the great war with the original Lunar Stallions and bad ass Luna with her Moon Champion! That would be epic.

I'd like to see your take on another songfic, if you wouldn't mind. I enjoyed Piano Mare and Music of the Night immensely. "Scenes from an italian restaurant" by billy joel probably has some good grounds for a shipfic of some sort. or if not shpping, a romantic dinner mayhaps? but what do i know, my writing sucks.

Having looked over all your stories I've a challenge for you: a Twilight Sparkle fic, she's the only one of the Mane 6 that hasn't been tagged in any of your fics so now how about a fic with her as the main character. As for story...hmmm...non-cliche and not too dark or gory...I think I have a few ideas. There is a distinct lack of filly Twilight stories, particularly of ones that deal with her lessons with Celestia (take it from the founder of the Filly Twilight group). Darkest Before Dawn was the only one that touched on it but the story was ended early. There would be plenty of plot lines you could make use of: her time at the School, Celestia's lessons, growing up in the castle, raising Spike (likely with a lot of help from Celestia and the Palace staff), Shinning Armor joining the guard (maybe he joined because Celestia took Twilight as a student...). It would keep you going for the summer and if you started to lose steam on one plot point it wouldn't be too hard to switch gears to another, of which there are many you could use.
Since everyone else seems to have missed it I'll mention it, but Tough Love wasn't the only one to get featured. It may have been breif, but Luna's story three took the fifth space at some point a few days ago, I even have proof!
