Well, I guess I got a fair amount of questions. Though considering most of them came from TL… Whatever. This should still be fun. So, I’ll start with the repeated questions first, then go to each user and their individual questions. So, without further ado, let’s Ask the Albinocorn!
Q: Why is Sunset Shimmer Best Pony?
A: Of course this would be the first question. I think I’ve damned myself to be known as the Sunset Shimmer fanboy for the rest of my duration in the fandom. And I’m okay with that.
Why is she the best? Well, that’s actually hard to say. I was drawn in when she was just a toy floating around the internet. She had a very lovely color scheme and an interesting bio tag. ‘Former student of Princess Celestia.’ Before anything about Equestria Girls was known, it was speculated she might replace Twilight and write letters to her. There was even a comic on it.
And that’s when the gears in my head started spinning.
I started writing Sunset of Time and I gave Sunset her own personality and attributes and all those things. She kinda felt like my own. I grew attached to her like she was my own character. Even when the movie came out and showed her with all of her grievous faults (and there were a lot of them) I couldn’t bring myself to not love her.
Besides, that mane.
Not sure if that’s a good enough explanation, but, it’s the best I can give. Some things just are, you know?
Q: When will you update Long Road to Friendship again?
A: Soon hopefully. I really just had a period where I just hated this story and went ‘why are you people reading this stupid thing? Why is it so freaking popular?’ I really wanted Sunset of Time to take off but this happened instead. A bit of Magnum Opus Dissonance. I’m mostly over it, I’m just trying to get the next chapter to sound okay. And debating whether or not I should split it up.

Q: Would you read clop involving Sunset Shimmer?
A: Uhhh, wow. Umm, read? Maybe. Depends on what’s going on in said story. Enjoy? Probably not.

Q: What do you want to be when you grow into a full Sunset Shimmer?
A: I wanna be a princess!
But seriously, I’d like to be a professional author and write some epic adventure stories. Maybe one romance novel…
Q: Sunset Shimmer or Vesper Radiance?
A: Adorable hero or insane megalomaniac. Yes.
Q: Do you ever plan on continuing the other stories you have?
A: Aw geez. I feel bad for just leaving Concordia hanging in the wind like that. I’d love to finish it as soon as Sunset of Time is done. But, I feel like it would need a fresh makeover. I’ve already learned so much from writing other stories. I need to take a long time and sit down just to go through my notes and make corrections to the plot.
I’d also like to continue Crusaders Go! But that was never intended to be constant. Still, I think it needs more updates. I have a lot of fun writing that story.

Q: Did you know that Rarity is nearly an albinocorn? With this new information, do you, in any way, resemble Rarity?
A: Well, if I did have an Element of Harmony, I would think it would be generosity. And she does share the same coat color with my OC. Other than that, we aren’t that similar. There is only one Albinocorn, and he is me!
Q: Would you ever want to own an albino rabbit? If so, then what compels you to choose this rabbit over the Himalayan rabbit?
A: I actually wanted a rabbit when I was younger, but mom said no. And albino rabbit are cuter! It needs to be all white, like me. And I will name her Sunset.
Q: What is your favourite episode of the show?
A: Damn, that’s a hard one. I think season 2 had some of the best episodes of the entire series. So, it comes down to a tie between The Return of Harmony, specifically part 2, and Luna Eclipsed. Although Pinkie Apple Pie came quite close.
Q: Do you plan on taking over the world with or without Sunset Shimmer? If you choose without, you are using Twilight Sparkle. This isn't a question.
A: Of course I plan on taking over the world with Sunset. And you and Twilight can try and stop us, and we will have a glorious battle to the death!
Q: Do you like your fame?
A: I am very appreciative of my fans, no question. But I honestly am content to struggle in obscurity myself as long as my stories get attention. I love seeing comments on my chapters. You guys always make me smile.
Q: What happens when an irresistible force meets an unmovable object?
A: An irresistible force? Well, Sunset is irresistible, and Twilight is unmovable, so you would have an OTP.
Q: Rocket A and rocket B take off at the same time and go at the same velocity for an infinite amount of time. Assume it is possible for there to be a way to see the other rocket's inside compartment through one window on their rocket. There is a window on your rocket as well. You are able to see a clock inside the other rocket. Will time appear to be moving slower or at the same rate?
A: If you’re both moving at the same time, then the clock speed wouldn’t change, right?

Q: What is your writing process?
A: Open up doc. Stare at words. Put on music. Stare at words. Get distracted by song. Stare at words. Put on new song. Get inspired. Write words. Think ahead, sometimes five chapters ahead. Stare at words. Repeat process for six hours.
Q: You are put into a scenario where you can either do nothing and lose or do something and win. Doing something will cost you your family and friends, but doing nothing will cost you an entire city. What do you choose?
A: I regret that anything clause. You do realize I count you as a friend, right? So you would die too if I chose to do something.
Q: Generally speaking, the average American consumes nearly three million McDonald's hamburgers a year. Solve for X.
A: I don’t eat McDonalds.
Q:Is a wrong choice still wrong if everyone believes it is right? Are people even able to tell?
A: Why can’t you ask me a simple question? Like if I have a pet or not? Or what color is my underwear? I’d have to say, yeah, a choice is still wrong even if everyone thinks it’s right. If everyone wanted to blow up the sun because they thought it was too bright, it doesn’t make it a good choice. Or something like that.
Q: How long until you finally get more followers than me?
A: Shut up.
Q: Does the end justify the means?
A: Depends on what the end is. I don’t know, I’m not a philosopher!

A: It’s subjective. So yes.

Q: What makes Sunset a good character?
A: Canon Sunset? Sadly, not much. She’s got ambition. And since she was Celestia’s student, she must have brains too. (Though that plan of hers was kinda half assed.) Well, if they decide to use her again (and they better) she could easily be that snarky, sarcastic friend we all have. In my case, that’s me. Could be another reason why I like her. Ugh, she has so much potential, they better make the most of it!
Q: What makes her a bad one?
A: Again, poor plan. And, let’s face it, she was a bitch. But I shouldn’t speak ill of my waifu.

Q: Is MLP your first/only fandom? If not, which other fandoms are you involved in?
A: Yes, MLP is the only fandom I can say I am really apart of. Of course, I’m ashamed to admit it to most people. I don’t know why, but I was just so drawn in after I caught up with the show. I went to research it some more, found some fanfiction, and lo and behold, here I am!
Q: Sunset of Time and Long Road to Friendship, while both stories with Sunset Shimmer as the protagonist, are somewhat different in their personalities and depictions. Among those, which one do you prefer, if either?
A: While I can say I prefer the story of Sunset of Time over Long Road to Friendship, picking a protagonist is much harder. I love my incarnation of Sunset, but I really do like the character study of our little apathetic anti-hero. They both have so many things going for them, and I have so much planned for both of them. I don’t think I can choose. It’s like trying to pick a favorite child.
Q: If you would, please list your top 5 favorite MLP characters, excluding Sunset Shimmer.
A: One does not simply exclude Sunset Shimmer. Yeah… I think I have a problem.

Q: What's your religious background if you don't mind me asking?
A: I’m Christian. Non-denominational. Though I haven’t been to church in ages. College does that.
Q: What happened to Question #5?

Q: What do you think about the Equestria Girls sequel?
A: I’m somewhere in the range of ‘okay, cool’ to ‘I don’t care.’ The first one was alright, so this one probably won’t be much better. Might give me some material to work off of. If I’m still writing LRtF by then. Though, when they were playing their instruments, some of their magic was showing. Hopefully they’ll expand on that. Might make it easier to write the possible sequel I’m still on the fence about.
But let’s be honest. I just want to see more Sunset.

A: Between the two of them? Rarity. I don’t know why, but I’m not overly fond of paring Trixie and Sunset together. But really, the only pair I ship is Sunlight. And occasionally Flutterdash.

Q: Why did you join the brony fandom and what makes you want to write?
A. Good question to end on. Though I’m honestly not to fond of the term ‘brony’ I joined the fandom after I finished season 2 during the hiatus. There was this… hole in my heart after I finished the last episode. No show has ever had me feeling like I wasn’t getting enough of it. And it left me really curious to know where it came from. So I searched around and found EQD and the fanfiction archive. Read some stories and soon found myself here on Fimfic. I guess I joined just so I could go on more pony adventures. And then I thought, ‘why not write some of my own?’
The first one I tried to write was terrible. A cliché of Nightmare Moon returns and possesses Luna. I burned it. But, I did realize that I have an untapped potential that I wanted to explore. There were stories I wanted to tell, worlds I wanted to create, characters I wanted to explore. I realized then I wanted to be an author, and this would be the perfect place to hone my skills.
Fimfiction is my training ground as I prepare myself for the big time. But I enjoy every second on here.
Well, that was fun. Thanks for all the questions. You guys made me realize just how much I obsess over one pony. It’s kinda sad, but I realize it’s all in good fun. Most of the time. Perhaps I’ll do this again, maybe when I get to 500 or something.
