Three things:
One, I am writing again. On pony again. On Spark To Light A Candle specifically. Wooooooooooooo! In fact I am working on the final, climactic conclusion, so the rough draft is going to be all written fairly soon. This is the good news.
Two, though, is the bad news. Which is that my editor is a bum. XD So it's going to be a while before the new chapters are ready to post. I know this is awful for some of you, but honestly if it ruins your day that you have to wait a little longer to get a bit of story about colorful ponies, maybe you should examine your life priorities? Also you're on a site full of great pony stories, so, you know... There's no shortage of stuff to read in the meantime.
I should say, though, that I REALLY appreciate the fact that I have fans who have stuck with this absurd thing for two plus years while I've worked on it. That's kind of awesome, so thank you guys. I am doing all I can to harass my editor into working, but I don't pay him anything, so I can't threaten to fire him. :) I also am working on a few projects that will be posted without editing, though they're all in the early stages yet. I have this bad habit of coming up with ideas for novel-length epics. :D
Three is that I'm kind of wanting to... I dunno. Write more. Get inspired more. Connect with the community more. So I'm looking for ways to talk to writers, meet writers, discuss writing, etc. etc. etc. I'm going to be at Everfree NW and at Bronycon as well (assuming my plans don't somehow go awry, neither one will get back to me yet about my vendor booth until next month and I am too broke to go if I don't vend) and I intend to attend at least a few writing panels if I can. But I'd also like to talk to writers here on Fimfic, and READ more too! So please, leave me a comment if you have a writer you think I should be reading (even if it's you, shameless self-promotion is fine!)
Yeah, there's no shortage, but all the same, that story's been hovering in the back of my mind for a while now and it'll be great to see it conclude.
Threaten to sex him mercilessly.
The great thing about that is that it will motivate him as either a threat or promise.
