Some notes on The Secret Life of Derpy Hooves

So yeah! This one.

The Secret Life of Derpy Hooves was first conceived and written in the late summer of 2012. The first scene was supposed to be a stand-alone inspired by Ken Ashcorp's Britland City Theme. Though I was never able to find out whether or not the tune was a supplement/theme song for any other work of art (because I will totally buy all the things this wonderful tune is attached to kthxbai), I ended up getting super inspired from it and wrote the entire story with this one-minute romp blasting in the background.

I sat on the story for a year and a half. Then, I stood up. There was some mold, but it scraped off well enough.

I like this story. It's not my best. But it's one of those fanfics I feel attached to. Emotions and jazz.

In other news, I've been offered a small scholarship to attend Butler University in Indianapolis. I get to go to college, y'all!
