Well, to get this bit of good news out of the way... You Lose Some, You Winsome just got over 100 upvotes! That's now my third fic to have that honor bestowed upon it, and even though it wasn't featured like I hoped it would be(key word: hoped), I'm still happy with the level of attention it received. But more importantly, I'm pleased with the way the story ultimately turned out. So thanks to everybody who read it, upvoted it, and stuck it on your favorites list! I really appreciate it!
Now, onto more important announcements.
Tomorrow, I'm going to be traveling up to visit my Aunt and Uncle in the faraway land of New York for a couple of days, and then almost right after that, I'm going to be traveling to Dallas, TX for a conference until the 7th of January. So... you know what that means, right?
It means that the next chapter of Hoof Covers Bruise is probably going to be delayed again. AGAIN. I'm really sorry, and I know that it's been over a month since the last update, but my break's been a little bit busier than I was thinking it would be. And since I already used one of my free-ish days to write a Scootalove story, I haven't gotten super far on HCB as a result. The good news is that the for the trip up to New York, I'm still going to have some time to write on my hands. But for the conference... I'm gonna be waaaaaay too busy to do anything related to this site whatsoever during that time. Sorry, y'all.
Some other good news is that all of that shitty writer's block decided to fuck off and go to hell so I can actually get some stuff done today, but considering how big the chapter is probably going to be, there's no way I'll be able to finish it before I leave tomorrow.
I'll do my best! And it will be worth the wait, I promise!
