Alright, so chapter 10 has been rewritten and is finished, save for the last scene, which is already started and isn't going to be very large (say 1k to 2k words). The chapter as a whole is hovering somewhere right below 12k words, and will probably be a little above that when it's all said and done.
I had hoped to have it finished tonight, but I have to get up early tomorrow morning, and I'll be out of town all weekend and probably won't be able to work on it (although I am taking copies of it with me, just in case). Come Monday, however, the final scene will be finished, and my desire is to have it edited and posted either Monday night or sometime Tuesday evening. I'm not saying it will be posted before Christmas, I'm cutting it sort of close, but it is my very strong desire that this should occur.
After that chapter 11 should flow much more fluidly, and will, I hope, come much more quickly. It will also be an overly long, wordy chapter. I'm going to guess somewhere in the ball park of 12k to 13k words, if the framework for it is anything to judge by.
