Chapter two of "This One Time, at Flight Camp" is finally upon us. *sweat-drop* Totally within my original time tables too... Anyway, I've got a little bit of time before I start on chapter three (I'm working on a minor side project in the meantime). So I got to thinking (not very hard, but...), and once again, I find myself borrowing from the Book of Camel and offering you, the audience, a chance to become a part of the hotly anticipated summer camp action.
The rules this time around are pretty simple:
- Submissions must be pegasi, because, you know... this story takes place in Cloudsdale...
- This is a foalcon story, in case that wasn't somehow clear yet, so expect to be involved in some foalcon action.
- Submissions may be either male or female, but since this is a filly-fooling story, any male sex will only be implied. Be sure to indicate your character's sexual orientation as well.
- Submissions should be somewhere between the ages of 6 and 17, based against human aging scales. I can't be bothered with figuring out equine lifespans against human ones...
- Please note that submissions will be filtered into the following categories based on the character's age: attendee (6 to 12) or junior counselor (13 to 17).
I'll be taking in one or two of the most promising submissions and giving them a recurring role in the story going forward. You'll get a shout-out in the credits, and possibly even a picture of yours truly playing with her special toys...
Hmm... okay, maybe not that last one... But how about a picture of Miss Starshadow playing with her special toys from my private collection?

Oh, one more thing: if you're having trouble coming up with a physical appearance to go with your OC, give this a try. This tool has drastically reduced the amount of time required for me to make OCs, and it's just nice to have a visual to work from sometimes, you know...?

Ultimately the look isn't that important beyond that they're young pegasi. Because this is going to be a recurring role, however, I do kind of hesitate to use OCs that are already part of another story line...

Eye Color: Light grey
Coat: Dark grey
Mane: Long black with silver streaks tied into a braid
Build: Muscular and defined like an MMA fighter (muscular but not huge)
Job: Student, part time National Guard (or whatever's the equivalent)
Mark: Winged dagger
Clothing: a black bandanna tied around the neck, has three feathers in the front right side of his mane ( black, red, and white feathers), his hooves are bandaged in a fighter's style, has numerous tattoos all over his body as part of his tradition (in white ink)
Notable features: Raised by buffalos, speaks with a slight buffalo accent, Little Strong Heart's adoptive brother, always carries a concealed tomahawk as part of his heritage, has a log vertical scar over his right eye
Bio: After his parents were murdered by a gang of thugs in Appleloosa, Mobius was left for dead at the age of 5 until a tribe of buffalo rescued him and raised his as one of their own.
Personality: He's the mature 'older brother' figure that always looks out for those who can't protect themselves. However, he also has a 'lone-wolf' personality that prevents him from having any real friends. Because he stands up for the weak, he became a target for bullies.

Coloration- her coat and mane are of the zebra pattern, the black streaks however grayer and the white streaks in her mane platinum, her mother's coloration.

Origin-
Platinum's mother was an adventurer of sorts, constantly hunting down lesser evils for the good of equistria. yet after an injury forced her retier, she hooked up with a strong and wise zebra stallion. Platinum was the result. She has faced mild ridicule because, despite being fourteen years old, she has no cutie mark. There is concern that her Zebra heritage may mean she does not have the capacity to create her cutie mark, although she is exceptionally strong flyer and generally has all the attributes of a Pegasus.
Platinum Nimbus suffers from a more than unleathy amount of paranoia. she has great difficulty trusting others, both because of the teasing for being a blank flank, some racism by the older peagasus, and after an 'incident' that she scarcely escaped. whatever barrier she puts up when around most ponies are dropped if she begins to trust you, revealing a intelligent, and somewhat sardonic, filly desperate for friendship.

Cute Mark: Neon Rings, because when he falls from the sky going really fast and he spins as he falls he starts to form neon rings a round him as he breaks the sound barrier
Origin: He was Two years old when Princess Luna found him. She had taking a nights walk, when she came across a baby Pegasus. She had wonder where the little baby Pegasus came from, but there was note. And that when Luna told her self that she was going to raise him.
He had hard time growing up only because he couldn't use magic. So when he was 14 years old he had convinced Luna his mom that he would go live in Ponyville. When he got to Ponyville he saw the most coolest, no hottest thing ever a rainbow colored pony doing a sonic Rainboom right over the town.It was so cool. After the event he what over to the rainbow colored pony and ask,"how did you do that". She look at him with a little smile upon her face. "Oh, that was my Sonic Rainboom. Did you like what see. Twilnight face turn a little red from the quested, but then he gain his spuk back and ask her if she could teach him to do that. She then sad sure "oh, and my names Rainbow Dash whats yours." "UM ah it's Twilnight, but you can call me Blitz for short. "So when can we do the training?" "Hows tonight sound?" He looked at her and smiled. "That sounds good, I'll be there." Later. At night they mat at Sugar Cube Corner. when they got both go there Rainbow Dash told him to fly as high as he could and then just fly straight down. "So, it's that easy?" No, I'm the only one that can do it, but hey there's always a chase you could pull it off. So, then he took off into the sky as high as he could; he then wave for Rainbow Dash to come up to him. When she got their, he told her he wanted to try something deterrent. Rainbow Dash then said "so what you got in mind?" "I want you to go first then I'll follow you and will see what happens from there. She then gave a big smile,"you ready here we go." She took off and then I did the same. As we both got speed from the fall I got to close to her and got into her draft and started spin out of control. Rainbow Dash then looked be hide her and saw me spinning, so she moved out of the way slowed to a stop. The next thing see saw was like the coolest thing she's ever seen. I was spinning strat down like arrow and as I got closer to the ground bright neon ring glowed around me and then a other bright flash and the sky turn purple for just sec. As landed upon the ground Rainbow Dash came up be hide me and Said, "THAT WAS THE COOLEST THING EVER." she then look at the newly form cute mark i had. "nice mark kid we should hag out more."
