Happy Wednesday! Let's talk about so many things!
ETC!
I am loving all the discussion that Chapter 14 of ETC created. Obviously, this was meant to be a Wham Chapter of ETC; a lot has changed in the story as I have written it, but this chapter was one of the ones that was set in stone from the very beginning. The only change that was made to it over time was adding in the presence of Amethyst Star. Then again, ALL of ETC changed because of her; she was never supposed to make more than one appearance (back in Chapter 3), but I decided to write an "ending" for her character in Chapter 5... but I ended up enjoying writing that "end" scene so much that she became one of the four principal characters of the story.
As of right now, this chapter has over 200 comments. Comments ranging from individual opinions of the chapter to actually pretty fierce debates regarding what happened.Once again, I must state how amazed and happy I am to see that. I assure you, I read each and every comment that gets posted on ETC, and I'd like nothing more than to respond to every one of them, but that might take forever.
So, yeah. Really, really happy with the last chapter. Just as an FYI, the next chapter miiiiiiiight not be the one you're expecting it to be. It's a shorter, different kind of chapter. Be prepared!

This lovely sketch was done by Venates. It's the first drawing someone has made of Vinyl and Tavi in their apartment, I really like how it looks. Fun fact: in my mind, their apartment is modeled the same way as the apartment I had back in college. I want that desk in the background, too!
This other piece is an interesting one... Buckwesier made a desktop picture based entirely on the name of the story, before he even read it. I love creativity like that, and I think this wallpaper looks pretty badass! He's made a few cool wallpapers and a lot of awesome sketches, go check out the stuff he's made.
THOUGHTS ON THE NEW EPISODE!

Welp. I think I have a new favorite episode, or at the very least a new entry in my top 5 favorites.
I mean, I loved the original Daring Do episode, and this one was even more fun. I know some people aren't too keen about Daring Do being real, but I love the idea that this stuff just happens in Equestria. I also love how Daring Do's entire life appears to be one giant walking cliché. Evil villains, mysterious artifacts... she even uses the phrase "I work alone!" It just gives me this image that her whole life, no matter what she tries to do, she ends up being an action hero who is a bit reluctant to be one. It's a great character, I certainly hope that we see more of Miss Do in the future. God, I had so much fun watching that episode.
COMING SOON
I got hit by a bolt of Idea Lightning (the third best kind of Lightning, obviously) and have been furiously writing out a new one-shot for the past day. I'm already halfway done with it, and it's looking like the whole thing could be completed by the weekend. Then, after a round of editing from the usual guys, I'll be posting it. It's my first time writing for one of my favorite characters from the show...
So, yeah. Lots of stuff going on right now with writing. Got a bunch of ideas for one-shots while I continue working on ETC, including a few that I've had in my head since Smiling Flowers. I think I got some really cool stuff coming up. Isn't that right, Harley-Quinn-Riding-Bon-Bon?
I have the best desk decorations at work. I'm hoping to get Joker riding Lyra next, although with my luck with those Funko blind bags, I'll get another Bon Bon.
Well, I guess it's time to change my background.
I liked "Daring Don't" as well. The sheer existence of all of her adventures certainly raises many questions, but I hope we get to learn more about her (or just have more DD-focused episodes).
Dare I ask what the first- and second-best kinds of Lightning are? And jeez, that Harley-Quinn-Riding-Bon-Bon is adorable.

I'm not a fan of orange... But the "One Day" image looks very desktop backgroundy to me (or maybe lock screen for my iPad.... HMM.)
