The Price of Being An Early Adopter · 7:09pm Dec 6th, 2013
I knew the risks going in.
Luckily, it's not the console acting wonky, but the games.
With Battlefield 4 crashing pretty consistently and losing campaign progress, and encountering a bug in Need For Speed Rivals that has effectively locked my Racer career at Level 22 (out of 60), it's getting frustrating.
Because the more my EA-published games crash, freeze, and lock progress, the more I become worried for Titanfall, an amazing looking game that looks like it could revolutionize the FPS genre.
And believe me, the FPS genre needs revolutionizing. Badly.
You always hear about the consoles crashing, but this is the first time I've heard of a new platform game crashing.
1578221 BF4 is in a pretty broken state. So much that DICE has halted development on all other titles while they get it fixed.
I capped the bug with the XB1's DVRm uploaded it, and tweeted it to Ghost Games, because Rivals doesn't have an official forum board.
You got yourself an Xboxone?
1578277 Yes, last Friday.
That is why I'm waiting to get an Xbone until all the bugs are fixed.
1578368 Like I said, the bugs are not with the console, but the games.
That being said, I am also looking forward to seeing how the console looks and operates in 6-12 months.

Kewl!
1578414 Well, that, and I'm also waiting until games don't support Xbox 360/Some awesome console exclusives (Halo) come out.
EA has a long history of ruining promising games
1578885 What a shocker.
I still can't believe you changed your mind at the last minute
