Yo dawg, I heard you like Alicorn!Dusk. So, somebody on deviantart got and wrote a mini-fic about Rainbow Dash teaching Dusk how to fly.

With a class of adorable foals.

“Thanks for that Fluttershy,” the rainbow mare acknowledged as they both set the amateur alicorn upon the cloud surface. Dusk felt it was much more satisfying than using that cloud walking spell.

“It was the least I could do. When were you going to be done again?” the yellow Pegasus asked. Dusk decided to take in his surroundings.

When Rainbow Dash said they were going to do his flying lessons in the clouds he was expecting to be alone with her, something he had dreaded since he agreed to her coaching. It surprised him when he saw many little pegasi also practicing with teachers on many different obstacle courses and exercise units. It must be popular.

“So, ready for your lesson?” Rainbow Dash beckoned, guiding the lavender stallion across the clouded landscape.

“I guess so, wasn’t expecting so many foals around though,” Dusk added, opening an opportunity for Rainbow to do what she does best.

“Don’t worry, our private lessons are much more… eventful.” The prince’s face quickly went a deep red as he grew frustrated with her temptations. She sniggered to herself before she pulled Dusk towards an entranceway.

“These ponies are going to be so excited seeing a prince, on their first lesson. It’ll be a massive boost to their spirits let me tell you,” Rainbow Dash half talked to herself. Suddenly Dusk realised what this place really was.

“Wait, a-am I taking... lessons… with foals? Like I’m in-” Dusk began to worry, his harsh memories of his old school rushing back to him.

“It’s going to be fine,” his cyan crusher reassured, “You’ll love it. Just, they’re here to learn so… yeah.”

They walked over towards a group of Pegasus foals all giggling and playing with each other, some even waving to their parents as they flew off. Speaking of which, the kids seemed to be on their own. Talk about independence.

“Okay My Little Ponies! You all ready for the best time ever?”

The source of this voice almost made Dusk trip. Before he knew it, his rainbow-maned friend had dashed forwards to the little fillies and colts and was getting them all prepped up. Unsure of how to act, he stood a distance away from the group. One by one, Rainbow Dash called out the name of each individual with the warm tone of a mother. She had completely changed in his eyes.

“Now before we get started I have a special guest in our class. He’s a good friend of mine but is having trouble with his flying and I hope we can all teach him together,” she slowly looked over towards Dusk and gestured his movement. From the moment he started to trot forward, he heard gasps of awe and small gossip between the small ponies. Suddenly he was semi-surrounded by the whole class.

“H-hi there,” the stallion managed to sputter out.

“Remember everypony, Prince Dusk is just like one of us today. We are still practicing our flying, okay? Get in line now and show Prince Dusk how organised we are,” Rainbow Dash managed to dominate over the white noise. Almost instantly the foals gathered into their lines and grinned expectantly at the new prince. He couldn’t help but smile back, impressed.

“Dusk, come on. You’re with me,” Rainbow brought him back from his thoughts. He quickly trotted up next to the mare and followed her through the winding cloud formations.

“I didn’t know you were a tutor,” Dusk whispered into Rainbow’s ear.

“Shows how much you know. These kids are my life,” she responded sniggering a small amount. They continued to walk uninterrupted until a filly came up beside the pair.

“What’s up, Cheery?” Rainbow asked the excited filly. She quickly turned back at her giggling friends before facing Dusk.

“Mr Dusk, are you Ms Rainbow’s… hee hee… coltfriend?”

The answer seemed so simple, but saying it was something else. In all the time Dusk had known Rainbow Dash he thought he knew the answer. But now he had found the question, he had forgotten.

Rainbow Dash chucked before saving Dusk from his red situation. “He’s not my coltfriend… yet,” she said slyly, inching towards him. Before he could respond, a few other fillies brought up their own opinions.

“Why not?”

“Yeah, Ms Rainbow is the best teacher ever!”

“She’s nice and cool and can fly really fast.”

Before they knew it, the organised group had come together in some sort of one sided debate, where the competition was who could give the best reason.
“Come on now, we don’t need to put pressure on Prince Dusk. We don’t support isolation in this class.” She was completely ignored in favour of a new idea.

“You should kiss her!”

The entire class was chanting for this so much some of the other classes were getting interested. Their chant grew more and more until they finally reached their limits.

“Enough!” Rainbow paused for a moment while the small pegasi waited patiently, quite ashamed.

“I’m really sorry about this Dusk, they’re usually more sensible than-” then as she turned to face the stallion, she was hit very hard.

Dusk had already been waiting in position and managed to steal a face to face kiss from the unguarded mare. After the brief bliss between the two, Dusk put his forehead closer to the crimson Pegasus.

“Gotcha.”

The ultimate revenge. Rainbow Dash didn’t know what to do. She was hardly ever pranked or surprised, especially not like that. She tried speaking; a comeback, a tangent, ANYTHING. But all that came out was mindless babble. It really had actually happened. Curse her completely blank mind. The only thing she could hear was all of the giggles, and a few “eww”s, from the foals around her. Almost as if nothing mattered.

Remember, all the love and criticism belongs to the (source).

Wonderful. :pinkiehappy:

I really like the portrayal of Dash's interaction with the foals.

Pfft... XD Nice. You should let them continue the story for TULLoDS, if you're having trouble with it. Make them a co-writer or something.
*Has forgotten why you said you haven't been warking on it*

As my 2 yr old cousin would say, "That's tute".
