So, your favourite Time Lord has been reading again. Of course, this means I was also not doing any writing nor a Bio review that is due tomorrow, but, you see, I am the Procrastination Master. I can pull more shit out of my ass than a chimpanzee. But less about me and more about good stories you should read. ONWARD!
Before you start, no, this is not a crossover with Star Trek and MLP. I totally did not just make that connection. Nope. I actually read this not too long ago, during the downtime between playing songs for pep band. It was totally worth my time. If the picture doesn't show it enough, the whole thing is super cute. I was actually interested in how Pinkie could have three children, but they are all triplets. They just get call the Tri-Pies. I actually think that that is the greatest name for them. Either way, this story was extremely satisfying. The first chapter seemed to drag on forever, though. It gave a lot of great information, but too much at one time for the first chapter. While this true, I cannot let it be a detriment to the score. So far, the story is a . . .

Manes is actually a follower of mine, but I will not sugar coat this for you. I am a sucker for TwiDash, so I decided to read it. The idea was interesting, I give it that. And it was presented in a rather interesting way. The problem is grammar errors, pacing, and dull prose. The grammar issues were rife, and this was indeed a detriment to reading. I am sure you can argue with me on this, but things just went too fast. I can deal with the attackers coming in fast, but . . . the rest was not so. There was little dramatic tension built up, and it felt rather lackluster reading parts that should have had that. This all leads into the dull prose. There was very little imagery, very little flair, and it was just overall partially boring to read. You need to use more flowery language when writing. It helps immensely.
The concept alone really holds it up here. I am hoping that further chapters can prove to be great. I give this 6.5/10 (this is borderline red, by the way)
I am sure that you all have seen this in the feature box. It actually took me a while to finally get to reading it because I do not usually like changeling stories. But, since it had become so popular, and it had a somewhat interesting plot idea, I decided to take a chance on it. I was obviously not disappointed. This had grammatical errors, but they did little to make it a hard read. The problem that I see with fics like this, though, is the generic characterization and seemingly juvenile writing style. It has its moments, but it very much has the feeling that a child is writing it. Not that he uses lower-level vocabulary at all; it just felt less like an adult fic. This is far from a detractor, though. It fits rather well with the theme, no matter how much I hate underdeveloped styles. Since the changeling is a teenager, it all really makes sense. Overall, this story was a fantastic read thus far. I am looking forward to the next chapters expectantly.

Alternative Picture (By Me)
This is a rather interesting story. I would like to mention first that it was unfortunately rather short. In fact, that is one of the flaws with it: it is too short. I read rather slow, and even I finished this in about ten minutes, maybe less. The idea was rather fun, though it was also underdeveloped. It was skipping through things, really. It placed in a few key points, then rushed forward with accomplishing them. I mean, besides that, the idea was cute, but it was rather lacking. I think that I can only rate this story 7.5/10.

This one was rather interesting. I cannot comment on it for story, as there really was none. I was just taking the Party of One episode and focussing on Pinkie after she feels like her friends have left her for good. But the way it was told was interesting. Honestly, I don't have much else for this story. XD There wasn't really much too it. 8/10
