Accolades, Awards, and Chapter 4 of "Metamorphosis" · 4:21am Dec 2nd, 2013
Man, it's been a long time since I've posted anything, hasn't it?
If you haven't seen already, Chapter 4 of my My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic/Bio-Booster Armor Guyver crossover fanfic, Metamorphosis has been posted. This is Part 1 of a two-part chapter, divided as such for the same reasons I outlined in my previous blog post. Hard to believe that was actually a little over two months ago. In any case, I'm continuing to work on Part 2, though it's still going slowly due to multiple other obligations in my life right now leaving me little free time to write.
In addition to announcing the new chapter of my story, I also wanted to bring all of you out there up to speed on some developments with my story that might interest you. While working on Chapter 4, Metamorphosis was accepted by Twilight's Library as a quality fanfiction worthy of their archives. Not long afterward, it was the winning entry in a 15-story Crossover Contest hosted by ~The Decent Writers Club~. The prize for winning this contest was the opportunity to start a "Ask ________" Blog on the Decent Writers Club forum along with other blogs run by group contributors posing as members of the Mane Six (and Derpy). So I have now assumed the role of Princess Twilight Sparkle for the blog Ask Twilight Sparkle, 2nd Edition, taking over the role from a previous group member. This is oddly fitting, as both Twilight and I are neurotic, introverted, perfectionistic, verbose bibliophiles with obsessive-compulsive tendencies that sometimes get in the way of our ability to accomplish things in a flexible manner.
Rather than toot my own horn more though, I want to thank all of the people out there who have supported me and my little fanfic since I joined Fimfiction.Net earlier this year. It's because of your constant support, comments, and feedback that I've put as much effort into this story as I have, and it would simply not be what it is without the rest of you out there. The honors and recognition that this story has received belong to all of you just as much as they do to me, so thank you for continuing to support and help me make this story as great as it possibly can be. Kudos!
Woo!
Man, between you and JawJoe, I should start trying to flaunt a reputation as an editor for award-winners. I mean, it's more likely that I just have a knack for stumbling across talented writers (seriously, you've earned this) but it couldn't hurt. Maybe I'll win something someday, too.
