For a measly little dude like me with only 48 (wonderful!) followers, that's a pretty big milestone for one of my stories to reach that number. Thank you guys and gals so much! I'm really happy that people have been liking my writing and deciding to bear with me, despite me being a little VERY inconsistent sometimes (and even when one of my stories has to do with Spike growing a pair of nipples, lolwhut), and I hope I can continue to write stuff in the future that you'd find worth your time to read.
And it makes it even better when the story that so many people are enjoying is a SCOOTABUSE story, one of the most cliché and overused concepts in the history of the fandom. My goal for this story was to write something Scootabuse that DIDN'T actually suck (I've seen very few stories that really do a good job with it), and based on the 100:2 ratio and all of the nice comments and feedback demonstrating genuine interest in how the story will unfold, it really feels like I've succeeded so far. Thank you guys so much!
Unfortunately, it would be an absolute MIRACLE if I managed to update the next chapter in less than two weeks. Finals are coming up, and I'm not going to have much time to do anything else once those kick in, so that's going to make finding time for leisure writing pretty much impossible. So, I apologize in advance for the long wait you all will have, but I can promise you that it WILL be worth it.
