Okay, chapter seven is done. It took me a lot longer than anticipated. I decided after finishing it the first time that it needed to blend more with the next arc, so I ended up re-writing the second half of the chapter. Then I decided five and six weren't up to my usual standards of writing so I went back and touched them up further. I'm still not happy with them however, so they're going to need even more changes before I can get them to beta.
Thankfully, three and four went out to beta already so are far more finalized. I'm still not able to shake the earth shattering funk I'm in, which is a serious killer of creativity in general. I need to get my muse back and shake the depression. Maybe I'll take a few days break from writing, or work on some of the side stories I've been planning. Things should hopefully be better after Wednesday, so hopefully my writing should return to normal. I usually write two hours or so a day, and I still manage that, but it's just not up to the quality it was before. Well, at least I'm not happy with it. Hopefully things will improve soon.
On a related note, apparently multibronybrony has been doing a reading on YouTube of Memory Pending! =o I haven't gotten a chance to listen to ALL of it yet, but for any curious, a link to the first chapter is HERE! Further related news, Pikafrogbro has contacted me about making an e-book about Memory Pending, but has been delayed in returning my PMs for some reason. Not sure if that's going to come through or not. Frankly, I'm still in shock that this story has been so well received. I'm very happy that everypony has gotten a ton of entertainment out of it, though. :) See everypony later!

I can't wait for the sequel to release! BTW, E-book is easy. Just click the "download e-pub" option where it shows the story status and content rating. It shows a plain download symbol but if you hover over it, you get three download options. On another note, still no response from EQD

It is of the sequel, and the sequel won't be posted until it is totally completed. My initial estimates for that were around the August timeframe.
Kir, keep up the good work, quality control that story as much as you need, I admire an author who doesn't succumb to fan pressure when it comes to delivering work. The reason why Memory Pending was/is so well received is that it is a fantastically amazing piece of art, keep up the good work! Good luck with that funk, been there, not fun.

A really crappy desktop that I got for volunteering for 24 hours at a place that recycles computers. It was good, but one day it said "I'm done with this", flipped the desk it was on, and stormed out of the house. Luckily, my birthday was in a few days, so I got a laptop!

Although I can't imagine being gnawed on would feel all that pleasant. I'm not special, though. 
The reason I don't post a chapter or two is because I don't want to leave anypony hanging with only part of a story. I don't like permanent hiatuses that happen to quite a lot of my favorite stories. I feel that it's not fair to the readers to not be given at least a sense of conclusion. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So just in case something happens to me before I can finish the sequel, I don't post any of it.
