I'm too nervous to check: someone tell me if "The Day She Dreamed of" is really good or just first. I know TAW's work, so that's probably solid as hell. Hopefully I can pump out updates fast enough to stay on top until [complete].
There should be an update tomorrow sometime after I'm convinced it's as error free as I can make it. I've also started edits on Chapter 9. The fact that it's not the weekend anymore will slow me down. Hopefully I can still get everything done by Friday.
"Why Friday?" you ask? Because Friday will be the one year anniversary of the first time I ever thought about writing stories involving ponies. I'll have some blog post about it here and on dA. That fic was Storm. It took over a month to make it not suck, but April 27th was the day it started coalescing. One freaking year!

The Day She Dreamed Of is mostly just 'first'. TAW's piece is much better, and TDSDO is very hard to read in a "not good" way. Like, I'll be blunt, it's bad.

Gosh, do I know that feel. I'm never quite sure whether to laugh or cry when I see yet another blatant self-insert or ultra meta "comedy" in there.
On the other hand, I have the same feeling about my own work, which was meant to only exist so that nobody else would want to do it just to be "first", so... yeah.

I try to look at it as just liking different things, but when there's yet ANOTHER Brony in Equestria or My Little Dashie spin-off, I really wonder sometimes. FWIW, your fic is on my list as soon as I have free time (behind ambassador's son, and out of the blue). That does assume AA doesn't post anything new though. I swear she writes the literary form of heroin.
