New chapter of Shotgun Wedding, New Story · 2:50am Oct 28th, 2013
Hello my faithful minions followers!
Today I have two new things for you:
Firstly, and what you've probably all been waiting (and hoping) for, is a new chapter of Shotgun Wedding. I apologize for the long delay on it. It actually has been written since last weekend, but I have been kicking at it all week. It is surprisingly hard to write humor, as I am discovering from this story; writing a short, funny story is a lot easier than being consistently funny throughout the length of a longer piece. However, it is going a lot better now, and I'm most of the way through chapter five. Hopefully this won't need to be reworked quite as much.
Secondly, I am uploading a new story. I wouldn't expect a whole lot of stuff in this vein from me, but... well, who knows.
Warning: the linked-to story is tagged mature-sex, but only the second chapter (the scientific paper itself) is; the rest is probably teen-sex. Not to mention comedy and random.
Proper Anatomical Terminology
Interest in the different ways of making love predates the migration to Equestria, and interest in how the tribes differ in their approach to sexual relations has existed nearly as long. While much has been previously written on the subject of lovemaking between the three tribes of pony, all that has been heretofore written upon the subject of alicorns has been at best extrapolation and at worst speculation. The royal family long been hesitant to speak on the subject, making any further study into the subject impossible. However, recently an opportunity arose to do an in-depth study into the more sensual properties of alicorns.
The primary purpose of this study is an initial exploration of alicorn sexuality, as well as a test of the common belief that alicorns are inherently superior lovers to other types of ponies.
I saw that image the other day, and I (and many others) suggested that it would be very funny if someone wrote a clop story using "proper anatomical terminology". And then I thought it would be even more funny to write it in the form of a scientific paper, a study on the subject if you will, by Twilight Sparkle. And then I thought it would be even more funny to write an actual story using the scientific paper as a jumping off point. So there is an actual story, followed by the scientific paper; you can read them in either order. I originally wrote the paper first, but it is (quite intentionally) dry, and some folk remarked that they preferred reading the story, and that the actual paper wasn't as amusing. So I switched up the order.
This was going to go up last night, but I had a bit of a hitch with the approval process. I hope those of you who read it find it amusing.
Finally, I have indeed been making progress on The Best. It is about halfway done.
