The next chapter probably won't be out for a while. At least you guys aren't stuck on the 'Is Rartiy okay?' cliffhanger like you were before.
Life's been... really tough for me right now, and I haven't been able to write, let alone much of anything else I enjoy. I really hate not being able to get the story to you guys, but I have to get this sorted out right now. I promise I'll finish the story. And I'll give you a full update on the situation once I know exactly what's going on myself.

At least I know where my expectations should be. Completely understand how real life takes precedence. I would prefer to wait for you to be in the precence of mind to do a good job with the story rather then see a significant drop in quality.

Hey, I'll have you know Death Note: Equestria could not exist without Silent Ponyville. It was only after you proved that the ultra-grimdark crossover could be effective that I was inspired to start thinking about a crossover of my own. It was often during the planning stages and early chapters that I would think to myself, "If I can make something even half as good/successful as Silent Ponyville, I will consider this a success."
We are birds of a feather. Pegasi of a feather. Grimdark angels of death and despair. Perhaps with a shared tendency to overextend metaphors.

I honestly don't feel like I did much of anything, but apparently Silent Ponyville did open doors. I really don't think it was so much that though, just that there hadn't been a well written fic in the Grimdark category yet. But really, a story is based on its quality of writing, not-so-much the content of its covers. You can make a fic about paint drying as interesting as an intergalactic war for the sake of the universe, its all about how you do it.
So I'm really glad I was able to be an inspiration for you, but you really just had the talent for story writing inside of you the whole time. I guess I just helped bring it to the surface heh.
I never quite know what the future will hold storywise, but I'll always be interested in seeing the ideas come to life.
