Almost EVERY fic they're featured in, they're either background ponies or just have sex. I mean... really? Is this ALL we're doing with them?

I can only think of one fic that made one of the sisters almost a main character, and it wasn't a very spectacular one.

Add the Aloe and Lotus sisters to show elements that aren't expanded on widely, along with the clone pool, crystal empire... uh, Fleur de lis...? Ok, had to think awhile for the last two, but you get the idea.

More notably the clone pool. All they did was put a boulder over the place! And everyone in Ponyville knows about the incident! How has it been that nobody could think of some way to bring a story on that?

Hell, for all we know, Celestia/Luna could have made the damn thing, and there's another in the castle, which is why all the damn guards look the same!

Afterthought: Actually, that's not a bad idea. I mean, you could make a moral fic with the ethics behind using clones for that dangerous job. Maybe even a comedy. An adventure with the original guard they're cloned from...
