With Code of Harmony now officially in the home stretch, (About nine or ten more updates, plus an epilogue. ) It's time once again to get all of you excited about my next project.
Well... most of you, anyway. Originally, I was intending to follow up Code of Harmony with the much anticipated "The Twilight War".... Well, that's going to have to wait. I've decided I need to step back and take a break from my massive, 100k+ word epics and take some time on some more lighthearted / shorter projects that have been building up in my plot-bunny bin. In addition. "The Revenge of Dr. Negative" will probably get some sparse updates during this time. If it turns out that the will is in me to finish it I will, if not - I have plenty of other stuff that needs writing, as you can guess.
I know there's some of you who will be dissapointed at this, but this is just the way it's gonna be. =p Don't worry, The Twilight War is coming - but I ain't gonna say when.
That being said, here's a list of the upcoming works you Might expect to see in the weeks following the end of Code of Harmony-
Dueling Pianos - The much desired 3rd installment in the Vinyl-Octavia Sisters story, featuring the confrontation with their parents and their attempts to set up a marriage. Expect more sexy scenes, more feels, and plenty of funny moments.
Flowering Succulence - An Aloe & Lotus Fic... which will have absolutely, positively ZERO Clop in it. The title is subject to change (It still sounds like a freaking clopfic title) And will feature Aloe & Lotus' arrival in Ponyville, the establishment of the Ponyville Spa, and some zany day-to-day antics.
Apple Family Values - A Scootadopt fic that will attempt to focus less upon the feel-bait and more upon Scootaloo adjusting to an Earth Pony lifestyle as a pegasus. Okay, and there's gonna be sappiness in it too, sue me.
Rebirth - Part 2 of the Trixie Story in the Codeverse, telling the tale of how Trixie Got Her Groove Back. No more details, as that would be spoiling. Yes, there's a Part 3. All good things come in 3's.
Those Bright Eyes - A Ditzy Doo / Twilight Sparkle shipfic I've wanted to write for quite some time. Yeah, I know - crack ships, whatever. I'm allowed to write sweet stuff too, yanno.
Ghost Trick : Pony Detective - Okay, so this isn't exactly a -short- fic idea, but I really want to write it! If it turns out that this ends up being my next major project, then so be it. We'll see, I suppose. For those of you unfamiliar - This fic will follow a mysterious soul in Ponyville who has awoken to find herself dead, and a strange mare in deadly peril - With the aid of her Powers of The Dead, also known as "Ghost Tricks" and the help of a strange black feline companion, our heroine must battle to save the lives of the citizens of ponyville, and find out the truth behind her murder before the sun rises and washes away The Truth forever.
Oh yeah, and I've got 380 Followers - which is pretty effin nifty, I think.

Rebirth and Ghost Trick sounds interesting!
Feh, another two or three stories and I think it'll stop being a crack ship. Tchernobog had inklings of it in "Mood Wings", Remedy wrote the quite long "Address Unknown," and then there's "Package Deal" by SandShift which just came out. Can't forget "Derpy Desires," even if AppleJinx's stuff is... weird. And those are just the ones I know about.
If I know of four, there are probably dozens of others that I've never heard of.

1226271 Well to be fair two of those are one shots, one is like a hundred thousand words and the other is Trixieverse.
All of those sounds interesting, but you worry me when you say you might not have the will to finish Revenge of Dr. Negative. You must finish it at some time! It's too interesting a story to leave dead on the floor.
1226323 Oh don't worry, It -will- be finished. The question right now is very much 'when will it get finished'. It may have to wait until post Twilight War, but we'll see how my mental energies are going. Trying to do it and Code of Harmony at the same time was a mistake.

I'm always up for more Derpy/Twi ships. Can't seem to get enough of them myself. I also love Scootadopt assuming it doesn't lead to Scootabuse anyway. I would probably get around to reading most any of these though to be honest even if it takes me awhile to get myself to read Trixie centric stories.
I want more supernatural detective stories!!!
