Story Progress!

Chapter four of Hooves Holding Hearts is off to the pre-readers! I'm going to try to get a C&D chapter done next, I think. I'm having to split time between pony writing and writing things I actually intend to e-publish for money, but I intend to finish the crop of stories I have, maybe saving a week in summer to write "Doctor Whooves and the Mare in the Moon."

So, on both Discord story fronts...
Nightmare in Ponyville

Nightmare in Ponyville Chapter 5 is 2-3K words shy of completion. It's was pretty satisfying to reach scenes that I had written months ago and fit them into the current narrative. We have the battle between the Elements of Harmony and Discord, which we already know from the story doesn't go well. Here's hoping how I plan that makes sense. After this, we just have the big final chapter to go.

We also have Screwy meeting one of my other favorite ponies for the first time. I'm hoping it works well in context. Expect it by the end of the week!

Chaos & Darkness
The next chapter is only 25-35% done. Most of the main cast's parts are there, because quite frankly its a hoot to write them and Grogar in the same scene. Tirek's going to be fun to screw with in this chapter, and we'll see hints of his master plan. Expect it it 2-3 weeks.
