Here We Are! The Princes of the Universe! · 3:05am May 22nd, 2013

It's been quite a week! There's so many things going on, I actually have list them in points!

First point, there are spoilers for Our Time to Fly: Chapter 9 ahead, if you haven't read it, get outta here!

- First set of news: I've passed my tests! I'm passed this career course, I'm making more money, I'm going on a week's vacation, and then my routine life will come back to me. I cannot wait, and you cannot care less!

- Second set of news: A new chapter is up, it's pretty big, and there are some super important plot points to be made. Rainbow Dash goes over the pros and cons of her flight party, and maybe qualifying for the races won't be as easy as she thought it would be. Also Twilight finally picks up a new assistant, one that impresses her enough to take them in! Finally Scootaloo comes to terms with her past, and with her future, what does it all mean? This next trip into the sky has a surprise in store that will stay with her for the rest of her life.

- Third set of news: This last chapter has put me up over 110,000 words! I can't believe my readers have stuck with me this long. It's been a blast guys, and there's still more to come, if you've been with me so far, I know you're here to the end. Thanks, and I hope I can continue to please.

- Fourth set of news: I have recently taken up work with the one, the only, the Path of Cloud! I proofread his latest NSFW piece entitled 'The Conquests of a Dragon'! No easy task let me assure you! We spent the entirety of two days trying to get the wording right and sorting out the differences in our styles, and still ended up launching with some discretions here and there! He wanted it out for Sunday night though, and thus we had it ready to go. I have a new appreciation of all proofreaders now, not that I had none before. It was all well worth the effort. He made the featured fics, and now I glow with pride knowing I had even a small part to play in it's design. I probably check out his thumbs and views for that fic more often than he does now. XD

Here's a mostly safe excerpt from the fic that I wrote and he decided to use:
"He heard Sweetie Belle before he saw her. The light creaks of floorboards brought his gaze to the door, expectant of the soon to come visitor. When she stepped in, his breath caught in his throat. Instincts older than ages, older than mountains awoke inside him. He felt a low growl rumble through him as he watched her fully enter the room, his eyes following her every movement. Each hesitant step, the nervous fidgeting of her clasped hands, the scent of her wafting perfume playing in his nose and on his tongue, his eyes registering each bounce of her pink and lilac curls. He devoured this lovely intruder as she trespassed through his mating ground, devoured her with every sense he had, and the instincts inside him, far older than he, hungered for more. He struggled to quell the ancient beast that lurked beneath the surface of his scales, forcing it back so as not to ruin this precious night for her, and for his most precious Rarity."

Ooo, steamy! Clopfics aren't my style though. I'll leave them to the experts such as PoC himself, and just help out from time to time as they wish. (And then take partial credit for them on my blog it appears. Hah! Take that Modesty, my ever-present enemy!)

- Fifth set of news: Not anywhere near as cool as the fourth set, and probably to be ignored, my time waiting for our tests was spent sketching again, this time a couple pics relating to my current piece of fiction.
Take a gander at Scootaloo and her Skyboard, the cutie mark and legband is a bit blurry, but I have no access to a proper scanner currently, so I'ma have to make due with a phone camera.

Next, I sketched up This Little Scene from last chapter. So Rarity's hair is wrong, sue me. it was from memory, and I'll fix it up when I have colour and art programs to work with. =p
I still find the concept of it really romantic >.>

Well that's it for me tonight. Pics, proofreading, chapters oh my! Unfortuantely that was the end of my buffer chapters. fortunately I'm almost back to routine again, and I'm already well into chapter 10. whether I can finish it for the end of June? That remains to be seen, cross your fingers and wish me well, or maybe even say a little prayer for me.
