Happy Tax Day (those in the US)

I was going to write a story based around everyone's favorite holiday, but I decided to work on my current story instead.

Current timeline:
Ch 8 need to proof it, and might add some things ~ upload in the next day or so... hopefully.
Ch 9 "sketched" ~ I haven't decided if I will have it end here, or in an "epilogue".
Ch 10 ~ see Ch 9.

Ch 8 is looking a bit shorter than the last few updates (7 pages; 2,530 words according to MS Word). I will probably not upload it until I have a solid start on Ch 9; mainly because, while a cliffhanger keeps me engaged in reading, I hate waiting. Well, actually, it's because I'm excited to see how it ends. Not saying that I don't know how it ends, because I do. I'm just saying that the feeling of finishing my first story is exciting. I feel that with each chapter my skill increases and I develop a stronger voice.

I do have some other story ideas, which I hope to get started on as well. Need to look through my idea's list, but I have one or two shorter stories that I will probably tackle first. They will probably be one shots; two-three chapters max. Does that still count as a one-shot?
meh. I'll deal with classifications later.

Unless my schedule gets too crazy, The Invisible Mare will be complete sometime around Friday (19th) or Monday (22nd)
