So, who wants advanced stories, superfriends? · 12:36pm Apr 3rd, 2013
You may have noticed some glaringly obvious errors in my latest featured story.
I realize they are, and still are, there, and a lot of them I was very aware of before being informed of them. There's a reason for that.
I am currently desperately in the need for proofreaders.
I used to have about four consistently brilliant ones, like Yuko Asho, but due to communication lapses, presumed retirements, leaving the fandom or just plain old boring, regular health issues, I am in dire need of new ones. Like, dire. I am almost completely incapable of self proof-reading, it's one of many of my flaws. This isn't laziness, I just see what's in my head and my brain fills in the gaps my eyes should be making me aware of, even reading out loud.
As a result, I'm leaving this as an open invitation to any and everypony who would like to be a pre reader for me.
Good Intentions (The only chapter of Cupcakes, Chaos and Crushes) is sort of like, well, a hazing ritual, a trial as you were. I've literally tried to make a story that is as enjoyable to analyze as possible whilst still containing glaring and niggling errors. Based on its reception I'm sure I've accomplished that and based on the comments I'm certain that many of you have noticed.
Your rewards for me giving you this work, this great power and responsibility (which happens to rhyme and have the same amount of syllables as 'Amazing Great and Powerful Trixie') will be to have your name referenced at the end of each chapter you contribute to and of course get super-advanced copies of everything I make. Of course, that's part of the requirement after all.
Any questions can be sent to my gmail, which will be given to any serious applicants.
May Luna see fit that your enemies dream of wearing moist undergarments.

I'd be forced to talk to you on a regular basis and respect your opinions as an equal.
C'mon. You got nothing to lose except time and dignity, and you're already on the internet, so really it's just a matter of time either way.

I will offer, but I highly, highly recommend finding someone who is more qualified. IE, everyone else.
Besides the fact I am rather blatantly underqualified to critique someone else's work, (though I do a fair job at proof-reading.) I am also principally available between 4:30 am EST and 9:00 am EST Tuesdays through Fridays, because of work, and fully available Saturday to Monday.
As you know Mr Numbers, I would be extremely happy to pre read your work. I'm a pretty good proof reader but like Blue above maybe not able to give solid critique. But would be willing to try.
Ordinarily, I'd offer... But I'm not gonna be available to proof for like 4 weeks until finals and all of my semester papers are done. If you still think you'd want me by then, I'd totally be down for it- I'm a damn good grammar nazi and a pretty good pre-reader
oh shit... this reminds me i havent logged into skype in about a week.... I'm going to have angry author messages...
Anyways, if you're cool with the wait, I'd love to proof for you Numbers

I would be willing to help out.
You know you can throw me a gdocs link any time. Same goes for any author I follow. Although if I don't want to read it I won't proofread it.

I may just have to take you two up on that...
Hell, I'll proof read for you. I'm just not available on the weekends, but I think that it would work out fine.
You know I'm usually available for a proofread.
It occurs to me, that the way I word things gives the impression that this is something I don't really want to do.
Nothing could be further from the truth actually.
