Please. Somebody. Anybody. Help!
How do I keep it from losing internet connectivity every few minutes?
5 bar connection. Works great for other computers. I keep getting "Limited" and have to reconnect to fix it.
Why is this OS so bad?

Personally, Windows hasn't released an OS that I like more than XP yet.

On 7, they made the aero theme even better, and is overall easier to use.
Screw 8's Metro theme.
7 is sexy, and I have a feeling I'll be using it for a long time. You could not PAY me to use 8. Seriously. From what I've read and seen, 8 seems to be the new Vista -- i.e., a half-gestated pile of something that should never have seen the light of day.

My suggestion is re-imagining your computer with windows 7.

windows 7 is a very well done operating systeme and I personally love it.
the reasons why,
I'm not going to go fully into some of these and I won't include many things but these are some of the reasons
1. windows explorer (not to be mistaken as internet explorer) works very well with this, and the file sorting is done excelently.
there is a place for everything and everything in it's place. whats this you say? you can't find a folder because it is hidden? well then type folder options into start and show hidden folders and files.
2. the graphics. I just like the way it looks.
3. with windows professional you can creat a virtual envoirnment and run a previously outdated OS simotaniously to access out dated programs
4. games run very soomthly on it. due to multiple factors
5. its considered the new standard for programs, and you can still run older games and programs on it.
6. when a program stops working it is very easy to just shut that program down and not have to restart your computer.
few things you could try though, first of all, try plugging in. it may be a problem with your wireless card and you might have to reinstall the driver.
go to an IT, they can help you.
also what type of computer do you use?
for example I use a lattitude E6420
have you made any upgrades upon that computer? for example I have upgraded my ram space from 4GB to 8GB?

I found a solution that'll work for now, luckily. I can't afford to do anything with this computer, and I'm afraid to mess with any of the physical stuff because I have the geek squad warranty and don't want to void it. All I need is for it to survive until I graduate college and then I can do whatever I want to it without worrying. But until then I can't risk damaging it.

If you have a problem with your computer, then you should get it fixed. its a simple as that, in most cases reimaging your computer is as simple as inserting a disk (I "ghost" computers though) if you wanted to go that way. It shouldn't cost that much if you have a "geek squad warrently" because doesn't that mean you can take it in an they will look at it? anyways. I'm not going to spend the whole night typing out computer solutions, so if you want more info PM me and we can skype mabye.
