Just posting this to let everyone know I'm not dead. After spending most of my winter break sick with the flu, I was lucky enough for it to turn into bronchitis and then pneumonia. Joy. Well I'm back on my feet and the new school term has started. More joy. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some catching up to do... No spoilers please.
My brother wants a new anime for Christmas, but I don't like the same stuff he does. While I like light and funny, he likes dark and heavy. I'm looking for something with deep themes, strong characters, and complex stories. He's still only 15, so no excessive gore and absolutely no ecchi. Anyone have any suggestions?
The new Disney movies is awesome. The art is beautiful and the characters are compelling. Even the comic relief character was amusing instead of obnoxious. The formula is new. There's no true villain. Also the songs are amazing. Just listen, this chick has a serious set of pipes.

I don't know how it happened. That's why my brain is broken.
It works under the same logic that clopfics, random stupid stories, Pony does X, stories done by popular authors, etc. get featured.
In short, a trend where your fic and the majority of readers just happened to match up, boom.
