Dear Princess Celestia Diary,
Today I learned Daring Do is real... and racist.
Okay. So I liked the thought that Daring is real (It makes me wanna reread "Ballad of Echo" and "The Sisters' Doo"), but I have a few issues with it. First, why don't the Elements know about a crazy blue monster with 5 hands and a cat army who wants to bake the world into a desert? Wouldn't Princess Celestia send them after a threat like that? I do like the world building (like the fact that Daring writes about her adventures to pay the bills, much like Indie's teaching job), but I have trouble with my head cannon now. Also there's the fact that only a certain sky blue pegasus shows up on the book cover, even though all the mane six helped. Seriously, wouldn't the Elements of Harmony AND an alicorn deserve mention? I think it would help your book sales. So, anyways I'm not sure what to think.
The Good: World building, Interesting plot, and a likable new background pony.
The Bad: Conflicts with previous cannon, Rainbow Dash's fangirling got annoying after a while, and best pony didn't show up on the book.
I'd give the episode a 7/10
any Idea where I can find it? Youtube doesn't seem to have it so I can't watch it
