For the next chapter of Side Stories of First Contact, I need your help!

In the next chapter, Doctor Whooves is reminiscing about the good old days, telling his family about adventures with the Brigadier, Sarah Jane Smith and others. Dinky sees the sadness beneath the smiles and recruits her sister Sparkler and the other Cutie Mark Crusaders to find his old friends. After 'accidentally' knocking the TARDIS key from its hiding spot and gaining access, they find themselves whisked to 13 Bannerman Lane and a certain attic, with a certain best friend and certain brigadier-screw 'Wedding of River Song', the Doc saw the Brig before he died and he's not dead yet!
The question I put to you is... which other companion/companions will find themselves in Equestria, seeing the Doctor one more time?

I have no idea who the companions from the classic series should be.
Ace?
I'm not sure but I think the only reason they had the Brigadier killed off in show was because of the Death of the Actor who played him in real life back in 2011. Since this world does not have that limitation the Brigadier may live on!
I second the call for Ace, mightiest of Companions.
Also K-9 should be there if Sarah Jane is there.
Strax would be fun to have show up but I think he's limited to Victorian England at the moment.

I say Susan Foreman. Just because of shenanigans and freak-outs it would cause.
Jack and/or Ace. Screw female companions who go "Oh doctor I love you why don't you notice me" or Amy, who I hate. Give me some BADASSES. The immortal who's defended the Earth when Doc's away and the lady who took on a Dalek with a baseball bat are perfect choices.
I'm thinking Jack Harkness and the woman from season 4. I forgot her name, sorry.
Susan. If only for the awkwardness involved in her calling the Doctor "Grandfather." Jack Harkness as well, if only for him flirting with Big Mac.
