Eeyup. Just wanted to give y'all a brief heads up that the next chapter of Finding Your Place is gonna be a bit delayed. I'm working until Wednesday, then Thursday I'm off to Las Pegasus Unicon. Let me know if you're going, I'll be wearing a badge with my FOB Equestria name, Tweak. So, I probably won;t be writing in that time, but I WILL be planning my next few chapters, so content shouldn't be too long afterwards. I will say that next chapter, we get to see more Spike being a badass...
Oh, yeah, the whole... "new episode/season finale/Twilicorn" thingy. Well, All I will say is I loved it, I am so jazzed for the next season, and then this: to all those who are worried that the show is going to suck now, that the writers have lost control of the show to the toy boys, that everything is doomed, doomed I tells ya! Just remember the last line of the episode. But, that was meant for everyone.
THIS, however, was for US. This was the show runners telling US, the bronies SPECIFICALLY, that everything was going to be okay, that they weren't forgetting us, that they still love us:

As I said, I doubt the fanfiction community as a whole is going to give a shit. It's three seasons in! For everyone to massively retcon it is ridiculous. More than that, any long festering ideas are now bunk. I think midnightshadow said in his blog that they might institute a "season 1-3" and Season 4+ tag, but other than that, just keep on. Like I said, my story is already in the future, so I can;t do shit about it.

Given the nature of my fic, it actually might benefit the story greatly if I were to work in Princess Twilight somehow. No retconning necessary, just a metric asston of speculation as to how she lives her life until Season 4 starts. I am willing to bet that it will be this spring, considering that is when the spin-off is rumored to begin airing..... And I will avoid that shit like the plague. I saw what happened to Rugrats, just noooooooooooooooo.
