I hate to bug you guys.

But I started a Lets Play of Fallout 3, and I'd like a bit more exposure. So if you like it, try to spread the video around. Tell friends, post links somewhere, whatever. Anyways, here it is.

    I've been thinking.

So I've been thinking a lot about WHY I write on my hiatus. And I see what I've been doing wrong this whole time. Every letter of every word I've typed on this site was typed for the wrong reason.

    To please others.

And now schoolwork is out of the way.

I haven't updated my new story in a month, but I had a good reason. Tons and TONS of schoolwork. Like, seriously, you have no idea how much there was. Now that it's out of the way, I can get back to writing. Expect an update soon. The new chapter is at 1600 words.

Yet another episode of my shitty The Walking Dead LP is up. Check it out and tell me how bad it is.

    Personal turmoil: Resolved.

Yeah, I would've had an update out sooner, but sadly, my life was in the gutter for a few days, but last night I managed to get everything sorted out, so I'm gonna try to get a chapter for A Dash of Stardust out tonight or tomorrow. School and personal problems are seriously starting to get in my way.

Well, this is a first. · 12:41am Jan 18th, 2013

I really don't know why I'm doing this, but I just need to vent. Last Friday, one of my classes had a substitute teacher, as our regular instructor was really sick. Of course, my lovely classmates find that the only logical solution is to act like complete fucking morons. I sat there and played a game on an approved site, and I think I only said "Ah fuck" a couple of times, and it wasn't even that loud. Well, apparently that's incredibly wrong, and the sub wrote my name down with the rest of the jackasses in my class. So I was already on the teacher's shit list, but then she goes and makes new rules. No free internet use, only for work. No talking. No games. Basically, no normal human actions. I eventually start doodling in Paint, and I, in my anger, write "Fuck this shit" in my doodle. The teacher was watching my screen. I close out of Paint, and she proceeds to write me a referral for detention and yell at me. So now I have detention next week, and I'm grounded from all technology for a week. Only reason I'm online is because I have my laptop for an English paper. I am so unbelievably fucking pissed off. I don't need this. I respect my teacher, but she can't just put us on a leash like that. I did nothing wrong, and then do one tiny thing in anger, and end up getting in trouble for it. Even though all the kids who actually acted up got off scott free asides from the new rules.

Sorry for this, I just needed to get all this out. I am just so angry right now it isn't even funny. Thanks for reading, or not, whatever. I just don't even care right now.

cussing aloud in class :/ that is a little bad, and what was the teacher doing while you were playing the game?

however last I checked writing your feelings down and then deleting/erasing them was encouraged

and the grounding is a little uncalled for, I did the same thing before (writing crud on paper to just calm myself down) and got caught, I was sent to the councellor like there was something wrong with me lol, i proceeded to tell him pretty much what I said in my second line above and got off free.

Well, teachers here can give detentions and they don't need to send you to the office. You just sorta... Have to do it. And as for the cussing, I didn't yell it, I muttered it. Only thing is, I have a loud voice, so what sounds quiet to me, probably wasn't quiet. I just can't tell.

You call that a rant? Anyways, high school teachers are fucking morons. Many of them are no more mature than you or I. Listen, school is much better once you get to college and pretty much everything that high school "prepares" you for is different.

...remember when your 3rd grade teacher drilled it into your mind that you would need cursive for everything in school? I do. That's exactly what high school does but with much more stuff. XD

And don't worry if you get suspended or anything, it's not like anyone cares outside of high school if you got a detention. "Oh my god did you get a detention for swearing?! No job for you!!"

721700

Oh God, I remember that. :rainbowlaugh:
Yeah, I know they're all stupid. And the best part? Detentions don't go on your permanent record around here unless you get them in excess. This is the first time I've ever even gotten into trouble before, let alone gotten a detention. I'm fine, it's just the actual detention and grounding that has me so steamed. :ajbemused:

i know ur feeling bro :pinkiesad2:

I know the feel bro. I always wondered why people freak out about cusses THEY ARE JUST WORDS. Hell=heck Damn=dang shit=crap dumbass=dumbbutt ass=butt and so on. WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL?

Yes school sucks, the teacher sucks, and you had every right to write this. We're always listening.

721767
Thanks. I just don't need all this shit right now, you know? I've already got a nice helping of shit on my plate, I don't need anyone giving me anymore.

i once got a detention in 3rd grade for sweeping rocks off the slide, teacher thought i was throwing them. ha, memories.
I've had cool teachers too though, most of them were in highschool.

Wow... That's cruel..

Some highschool teachers are what can be described in that paragraph of yours. Luckily there are some who are 'zany' I shall put it, and it's those teachers that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Remember that everyone swears, but does so in a usually isolated and discreet place. There was yet a hilarious annecdote where my accounting teacher started writing on the board then suddenly said, "OH SHIT, IS THIS PERMANENT MARKER!?"
So with some teachers they're laid back and others you need to be more formal with, it's basically just about correctly identifying the right character personalities associated with each one :moustache:

yeah man, the whole acting like morons thing, that was why I am glad I changed schools...
heck, they were just as bad to the usual teachers. man, am I not missing those guys.
I mean, yeah, I kinda miss some of my old friends, sorta, weird as they were are, but still...
I do not miss the many dumbasses... :facehoof:

Damn, that sucks.

Sadly I know the feeling, and it sucks.

Best friend is a High School teacher. Showed him this. here's what he said:
Here's tip bro, "After you curse aloud for whatever stupid ass reason, try not to repeat the same thing again."

While everyone here is supporting YOU on this. Dude. You cursed in class, loud enough for the teacher to hear. You want to stay out of trouble? Just don't speak. Easy as that.

Heheh, this makes me remember a hilarious scene one of my high school teachers said, well, there was some guy whose name I can't remember standing outside the door and when the teacher was walking out (burying his nose in a book mind you) The guy jumped out and said in a loud voice "hey mr Swanson I was wondering...." the rest was drowned out by the teacher screaming OH SHIT and spasming so badly he practically threw the book, funniest freaking thing I ever saw.

Well, darn. Here's for the best of you. School really is a bitch, isn't it?

721709 Don't be steamed. Play "Smile Song" in the background and get happy again, mate!:pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:

Murphy seems to like you mate

Slit her throat and break her legs.

But the other way around.

Or don't.

722147
Yeah, I admit that was my bad, but I also can't tell how loud I am. Like, I yell, and that's normal speech to me. I have a VERY booming voice. Like, I muttered the "ah fuck" to myself, but it must've been loud enough for the teacher to hear. I wasn't talking otherwise, just mumbling in anger. It was out of my control, really.

724016
You should talk to someone about that. Not knowing your own volume could be horrible later in life. Think about it: You're at work, just doing your job, and you curse silently (though I'm still bugged on why you were cursing if just browsing the web. Playing games is another thing :P), but your smartass co-worker hears you through his estrogen pumped body and decides to play the roll of a little shit(kid).
This stuff happens bro. It sucks, but I really think you should try your best to fix it.

724016
Same with me. Except I don't say fuck. :rainbowlaugh:

724016
Of course, I do empathize. I've had shitty subs/teachers before, then got in trouble when the real shitheads don't. Seriously, once a teacher said that I was in trouble for being a good student while everyone else was crazy, then only acting up once and breaking my "good student" record. :facehoof: Which was a little odd.

725570
I know, and I really try. You see, our teacher used to let us play games in class. I was playing it to keep me quiet, and I instinctively cuss under my breath. See, I was raised (If you could call it an upbringing) believing cuss words were fine, so they've melded themselves into my language. My solution is to just not talk anymore. The teacher is cool with me now, but thanks man.

No problem, good luck.
