I made a mistake or two with the first chapter of Unicorn at Hogwarts - which have now been corrected. I've finished the second chapter, and would just like someone available to give it a once over to make sure it works alright. Anyone free at the moment?

I just need one person, and I'll PM them the story password and chapter URL.

Is this still a thing? Since you already posted chapter 2, and all?

Anyway, if you need someone to look over your stuff, I'll be glad to help. Unless I'm sick like I was the last few days.

It still stands since I want to know who can give subsequent chapters a pre-read. I would appreciate a once-over of chapters one and two, as well, actually...

Once it's in a "to be read" state, I'll let you know. That'll probably wait until I have the next chapter of another fic done first, though.

Cant see anything wrong so far, almost thought I had you wit the word "elide"

“If you’ll come this way please, I have a Floo in my office. We’ll use that to get to Diagon Alley. The reason it is I is because I’ve done this for less students this year, since one of the students I was to introduce to the magical world moved to France.” She looked a little put out about that particular decision.
>The reason it is I is?
Thats all I've caught with chapter 1. Not sure if its really a concern, maybe I just dont understand the conjecture.

I cant find anything wrong in chapter 2. heeeeeeee, cant wait for the next one......

"It is I" is the more formal and correct form of "it's me", and she's using "is that" instead of "is because". So that's "The reason it's me is because..."
Heh, most Wizards aren't quite at the "Luna" level of formal speech, but most of them are old enough that they have archaisms we no longer pick up. (That's also the reason for terms like "elide" - as it happens, since most characters in focus in the books either don't speak at all or are very old or have had a formal upbringing, and since Twilight is just plain smart and Spike's grown up with her, the level of semiformal language used will be... fairly high.)

i have textaloud so if there is a error i can see it AND hear it
