Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey Gets a Cinematic Universe · 1:53am March 19th

Yeah that's right. Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey Creators Reveal Cinematic Universe, Avengers-like Crossover Movie.

The companies promise that the film will bring their horror movie villains together to tell a story that sees them “join forces to takedown the world,” and it's all part of a grand cinematic scheme they're calling The Twisted Childhood Universe.

That includes yet-to-release films, such as Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and, of course, Pinocchio Unstrung, as well as established entries like Blood and Honey 1 and 2. More characters, such as Sleeping Beauty and The Mad Hatter, are also said to be on the way. Each horror twist looks at well-known characters and stories through a dark lens, and Poohniverse will surely be no different.

We've really stepped into a new age of horror with this.

Honestly I am not a fan of horror and it certainly does not help that the creators did this solely to spite Disney. I feel that if you are going to do something like this it should be because you like it because as they teach you in business school, making something out of hate doesn’t last long and it is a shame really because I would would like these type of movies to take off. However I think most people are bitter about them because they know the reason why they are doing this and it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I feel that if it wasn’t made to spite Disney these movies could work and Disney themselves done it too.

(Whimper) Please, no.

The last vestiges of a once wholly innocent Childs series is gone forever now

WHAT. THE, FU-----

Somebody throw a wrench in this bad idea

I think there would be people who genuinely like these but I feel what is holding these movies back is that they were made out of spite. There was an Alice in Wonderland video game that took the horror concept very well and then with Disney I recommend Maleficent and Once Upon a Time. Not exactly horror like the first recommendation but I feel it is within the same realm because those two peices of media can get a bit dark.

...Somebody find the Infinity Stones and snap these out of existence...

Who would be the “antagonist” to slay them all?

Whoever is making these movies are clearly Satanists, I’ll tell you that.

...Why do I get the impression that this will not end well...😨😰

This is one cinematic universe I’d rather not see.

That's all well and good, but where's Mickey vs Pooh? That's what I wanna see.

These things (sans Winnie-the-Pooh) have been public domain for decades, or over a century. Disney never owned the properties themselves, they just made movies based on them because they were free to use due to being in public domain already or by striking a deal with the original creators to have exclusive rights.

The Mickey Mouse horror releases are being made to spite Disney yes, as they withheld Mickey from public domain for 40 years, but Blood & Honey wasn't; that was made simply because they could make it now.

I do not think it will end well. However the ones that they did use was the Disney version of Winnie the Pooh and I remember reading something that it was at first to protest against Disney but as the project later went on they did it to spite Disney. A critique is one thing but look at all the other products that failed simply because it was made to spite something or someone else. I feel that they can make a Disney horror without spiting Disney. Just saying. If you want examples a lot of products that failed because they did it to spite someone were mostly conservatives. Sorry that I got a bit political there but that was something I noticed. I want these products to do well but I think the fact it was done to spite someone will always hold them back. A good example of a failed product due to spiting someone would be that conservative Bluey rip off cartoon. To be honest I defending the Winnie the Pooh movie before it was leaked that the creators changed their minds and decided to use it to spite Disney.

The collapse of mainstream comics, Hollywood and the AAA video game industry (all of which are ran by liberals), beg to differ.

You brought that up first.

5773010
Since when did mainstream comics and Hollywood make things spite people. I hate to break it to you but it is as clear as day that the creators and the companies are different people and more often than not the creators fight the CEOs a lot simply to have those kind of people in their works. The only claims I see as such are people from the internet with no credible prof what so ever. As for the major companies you listed they failed because of mismanagement and greed not because they did it to spite someone. You can’t fault a few bad apples for the entire project and that is just what some on the internet do not get. They will only see one part of the picture and refuse that look at everything else as well as all the story and the full story. For me personally it only becomes a problem when both the creator and the CEO’s are in agreement for that stuff if that is what you meant.

5773011
They are ran by people who openly say they hate the paying customer and don't want to cater to them, hence the plummeting stocks. A lot of them are also very racist, sexist and hypocritical.

I've already explained this to you countless times and I'm not going to drudge this out on someone else's post, so go back and read.

5773014
People as in CEO’s way more often than not the creators and the people who work on it are different people and I am afraid you are a bit biased on this. I read several stories that the creators more often than not have to fight them on this issue. According to polls most people like woke. It was a close tie too.Honestly that sounds like a rumor from a rumor mill on twitter.

Whoever is making these movies should be slapped with heavy fines for giving children nightmares because of these twisted versions of their childhood characters. I mean, seriously, why put them up in public domain, that’s like asking someone to do shit like this. I’m sorry, I ain’t watching these films, because they’re disgusting (not on a gore level but disgraceful) and should never have existed in the first place

5773014
Also the rumor you mention came from a comics stores owners complaint. I have seen comic shops that do very well but his wasn’t so he put the blame on self inserts and woke agenda for the reason his business was failing. The writers disagreed and people agreed with some random comic shop owner and jumped to conclusions by saying that they were gaslighting with no proof. That is how the rumor started. Honestly people would rather read comics online that but a physical copy and I think that is what really is going on.

I think that might be a little too far. Satanists are actually chill people. They are just jerks simple as that.

5773018
And yet Coraline exists. Kids like to be scared and is not exactly illegal.

5773030
A person who worships the Devil himself is never just a jerk. And they certainly aren’t chill.

5773038
Well here is the thing, they do not actually worship the Devil. They called themselves that mainly as a joke. They are like atheists with a bit of paganism is the best way to describe them. Satanists are not as extraordinary as the internet makes them out to be. Satanists are actually normal people.

5773040
In your world, maybe. But in reality, Satanists do exist.

5773041
I think you have only seen Santanists in mainstream media. However there was a really interesting Ted Talk about them and several other videos like it. One notably being I Hung Out With Santanists for a Day. They are not as extreme as people like to believe and the only people who depict them as that would be the mainstream media. If you take the time to actually learn about Santanism and not the tv kind, you would actually be surprised how different the two are.

Ill be honest this just feels sad.

I have one small, simple, solitary question to ask, & please be honest with me:

what else is new:ajbemused:?

I'm literally just leaving this... And the rest is history

5773031
1. Coraline is rated PG and is designed to be viewable for children.

2. Kids like to be mildly startled, not traumatized for life.

3. Comparing this Hollywood hell spawn to Coraline is like comparing The Walking Dead to Dora The Explorer.

5773344
And that is your opinion, I think if the creators let go of their hate agenda against Disney, I feel that these movies will do very well. I think making things because you like it will make a huge difference and I would not be surprised if there is an audience for it. Case in point American McGee’s Alice in Wonderland. Have you seen the many horror media based on Alice in Wonderland? Also why do you think this is rated R, you know for adults. I feel bad for the kids who’s parents accidentally take their kids there thinking it would be kid friendly. Coraline and Nightmare Before Christmas traumatized me as a kid so what is your case in point? I have a deep fear of claymation because of Atem Burton’s films. I will also argue that thanks to the digital age kids get exposed to that kind of thing on a daily basis so I think a movie like Blood and Honey would not traumatize today’s kids due to how many slasher stuff they see online.

5773357
I've just always tried to stay away from horror because I felt it would keep me up at night. I can't even count how many restless nights I had as a kid just from Statler and Waldorf's scene in the Muppet Christmas Carol and I didn't even watch Nightmare Before Christmas (I also admit that claymation creeps me out) until my high school class watched it. To this day, I still haven't watched Coraline.

Seeing such innocent parts of my childhood be perverted like this just makes me feel sad that the entertainment world has reached this point. Of course I've glimpsed twisted pictures of this stuff throughout my life, but I always smiled and shook my head while thinking "there's no way anyone would be stupid or desperate enough to make this a thing." I understand this has a crowd and more power to them, but I'm not one of them.

I get that kids are really desensitized these days (speaking from experience), but that shouldn't be an invitation to expose them to stuff like this. This is R-rated like you said, but you also pointed out that parents take their kids to see stuff like this for one mistake or another.

5773374
Disney stuff getting horror versions is nothing new, if you see someone who likes this stuff and their reason is not because they want to spite Disney try seeing why with n open mind. Horror fans are some of the sweetest people. I saw a video where a YouTuber turned Disney Princesses into horror heroes and they seemed pretty nice. The person said that they did it as a challenge. There is also a horror Scooby Doo comic that is really popular.

Winnie the Pooh blood and honey 2 comes out tomorrow I’m excited who else is excited
