I'd like to thank you all for following me as I celebrate my second anniversary on FIMFiction. It was eight years ago today, 29 February 2016, that I created my account (though for some reason my account now reads 1 March 2016). I've enjoyed my time writing on this site and look forward to putting out more work in the future. Thank you all and happy Leap Day!

I may be a day late, but Happy Anniversary!
I was fully intending to join Fimfic on 10/10/22, the 12th anniversary of "FiM," but my free neighborhood wifi wasn't working that day. Then, it was after midnight on the 11th before I could complete the login. (I finally got myself one of them smartphone thingys, so I can be online whenever I want. Which is most of the time. It's a good thing, as that free wifi is a thing of the past.)

Well, I signed up on the 29th, and my account used to list the 29th, but now it says the 1st of March. I think it may be a bug in the system.

Probably. The more I think about it, the more I think that I did sign up before midnight on the 21st. I wonder if it has something to do with the time zone of Fimfic's servers. For example, I live in central OK, but my phone's server is in south Texas. I keep getting Google ads for Texas. I had to disable notifications for my built-in weather app, since I kept getting weather updates for Texas.
