Harmony showed patience and intrigue when Celestia announced Discord return, while leaving a auditable quiver in its voice to pretend to be showing uncertainty if not a fearful attitude toward the chaos bringer, since h
its strength was overtaxed as it was and the former mighty Tree might have to drop all her magic expanding actions.

Harmony wanted to make some puns, mortals often show coping of stress in dangerous situations with humor after all.
Harmony told Celestia she been together around the clock working on undoing one desaster after another, what wasn't even strictly a lie, despite her causing problems deliberately on purpose.
Deliberately because before Discord absence had to be compensated by some being, despite his absolutely infuriating nature in Harmonys metaphorical eyes, did the chaos bringer fostered change and growth.
Occationaly it even had something that didn't have to be reversed or fixed up by the Tree of Harmony and others associated with it.

With purposes always behind its actions, even if the Tree had no idea what it was doing it for, had always a plan and sense behind its actions.

Unfortunately something of a nessesary evil thing to do, after Discord was banished and made the races of this world very stagnant in their development. Due to stagnation usually leading to ruine in one way or another, was a chance in order due to the wish of the Tree to help its little ponies to become greater than the total sum of its herds mass.
Occationaly it even worked out in the end.

Though her puns and joke really lacking timing for greater effect, did she informed Celestia about temporal anomalies all over the world, suggesting that Discord might be behind it all, now that she know he was free and was the most likely culprit.

Discord had a few itching tail scales, either someone had given him unearned praise, was insulting towards his efforts to make things work out in the end or ... actually that chaos sense had a few other unrelated combinations. He really needed to check his itching and twitching catalog.
With its 501 combinations and meaning it got even for him at times confusing... what was rather unusual, since he could make sense out of nonsense and made nonsense rather reasonable.

That accusation for once was a full truth for once, even if it was kinda cheap to guess if something was going south, it be Discord doing, especially if he was to busy recovering from his currently power drained state.

What might hold him now to busy to do some mischief, though it would in theory not stop him at all to come back from the future towards the past of Equestria or other nations for one reason or another.

On rare occasions even the Tree of Harmony had to give him credit to do a reasonable decent job, not screwing everything the chaos bringer touched to end up completely into unconstructive horseapples.
Especially if everything worked out in the end, having everyone surprised that constructive feedback was given by the usually distortion bringing avatar of eternal change and progression, even if it was something Harmony hated to admit towards itself.

Still... this violent reaction of the world was no joking matter, since it was so bad in some regions of the planet that it stopped time to flow entirely at a stable rate, designing perhaps truely monumental problems for the world and its safety.

Celestia thoughs seem to be distracted and Harmony made it known that Celestia now and ever needed to think about tomorrow!
If noone was caring for peaceful relationships today, tomorrow might call forth a war of conflicting priorities.
Today lack of enviromental friendly mining and production of machines for example, might cause them tomorrow to cough out their lungs, because air quality had finally fallen below healthy limits.

One does not simply damage the environment without suffering dear consequences that are often seen only decades later and are highly regretted, because noone had made a move to stop it and current generations cursed its ancestors for doing the same they themself currently attempted.
Ignoring the cause of the symptoms, until it becomes to late preventing damage, rather than making it slightly less urgent.

Silly mortals often due go for that option, since they are long dead before it became their generations pressing issue.

Celestia was a very busy pony, yet she needed to knock some hours off her working schedule filled clock of her nation wide duties, if a planet wide matter demanded her attention.
Someone else might have gotten it wrong.
In which case Chrysalis had ultimately fix everything up with her diligence and carefully working Changelings.

Something they are rewarded later for, being free to ling around like only Changelings managed to do. It sure had perks to be of a race that could shape shift and has spells to manipulate memories for emergencies.

For example when a mare woke up with a hangover and foundly remembered enjoying drunkenly a group of Changelings multi species males partying with her privately with thing one only dares to enjoy usually in ones mind, often when one was gossiping about remembering something so one of a kind moments in their life, like a nice multi species mating party.
It was in fact more often than not a group of Changelings having fun making every reasonable desired of their generous host a reality that was slightly hazy, but cherished remembered for the rest of their lifetime.

Mutual beneficial bounds, not to rarely resulting in multi species herds and perhaps soon flocks once the Griffon race is integrated into the future Equestrian Empire.

So many little pieces that formed a greater hole, be it the two Pegasus floating Citys of 'Las Pegasus' that stays stationary all year around or 'Cloudsdale' the mobil cloud city constantly building smaller extensions that will one day create small Pegasus villages to strengthening the Pegasus population alongside others.
Then there are the Unicorn and Bicorn Citys of 'Canterlot' or 'Fillydelphia', the Earthpony main cities of 'Baltimare', 'Manehatten', 'Vanhoover' or the underground mining city of the 'Macintosh Hills'.

With other locations like the Thestral mainly populating 'Hollow Shades' and 'Smokey Mountains'.
Further there are the Kirin main locations of the 'White tale Woods' and the 'Everfree Forest Kirin Grove' near the 'Rambling Rock Ridge'.

Not to forget the last descendant of the slowly dying out Crystal pony population of the 'Neighara Falls' or 'Tall Tale' the crystal grown little City.

With other locations being mixed in their populations with pony main population.

Though these days some non pony communities with low pony population have taken places for their own while following the Alicorn rulership like:
'Dodge City' the Gemdog mining community or 'Trottingham' with Griffon heavy population even before the big refuge wave came, integrating hundred of thousands of the Catbirb population into Equestrias citizens pool.

With very mixed, but still pony scarcity locations like 'Seaward Shoals' that is mainly populated by Abesinian and Minotaur citizens of Equestria or 'Horseshoe Bay' that has a main population of Hypogriffons and Seaponys that migrated to Equestria for one reason or another.

Just to name a few.

But to return at the matter of importance...

Besides the very uncertainty growing situation that a freed Draconequus caused inevitably, did her sisters on the Moon surface had been going through a very disturbing change.
From what Harmony could say with her limited scrying spell towards Celestias sisters on the Moon surface there existance had changed to pure dark magic, something that should be impossible, yet it happend anyway.

Making it more importantly to find elements of harmony bearing ponies to save the last remaining Alicorns beside Celestia herself to rule over the day and night cycles of the world, giving it a rather stable day and night cycle for everyone to flourish under.

Harmony really played up the conserned friend part up, maybe something to let the night Alicorns look over the fact that Harmony had been occupied mentally when Celestia banished her sisters, only to notice her blunder about blindly trusting Celestias judgment of the past to do the right thing and only use the elements as a last resort 'friendship laser to the face solution' towards enemies of Harmony and its charges she looked after.

They where allies since her creation, so long ago that they are like drinking buddies or sisters of war to the end of time. Harmony trust in Celestia was shattered that day, never to be recovered fully since that day.
Trust once lost is hard to regain, if at all possible.

Harmony told Celestia further that something very strange happened to the Moon, the scrying spell she used to 'see outside the cave' seem to be very inaccurate if not outright being actively prevented to give sensibel and good enough for interpretation informations back, unless somehow her sister had turned to pure dark magic constructions, the Moon surface was from one night to another no longer a life devoided ash filled surface and instead is filled to the capacity limit of Harmonys scrying spell to detect life and wild magic, that usually are crested from a active flora filled environment.

Harmony told Celestia that Discord obviously had found out that how weak it had become over time and now sabotaged all scrying spell activity the Tree used to keep Equestrians population as safe as possible.

Celestia had a amused smile on her muzzle, while and also showing a embarrassed body language that something wasn't adding up in Harmonys assumptions and she had failed to calm the Trees concerned mind sooner.

Celestia then revealed that Discord upon return had saved her sisters rumps from the Moon surface and somehow switch it up with puppet like dark magic constructed dummys to take their place.

Further that he had restored the Moon surface that as Harmony knew Celestia herself had accidentally once turned up after having moved the sun to close to the moons surface, igniting the flammable atmosphere and unfortunately everything and everyone on it at the time, before years later banishment was enforced upon her sisters when Celestia had foolishly used the elements of harmony not to banishing her opposing mindsets of her sisters, rather than banishing them body and soul towards the dead moon surface.

At that point did a Luna in her full empowered Alicorn state stepped from the stairs and trotted before Harmony.

Despite Harmony knowing of Lunas return, did the Tree squealed in delight of having her little Wona back, the crystal vines shot out like arrows fired from a crossbow, wrapped around Luna legs and barrel, lifted her into the air and cuddled her shortly after on its crystal barks surface with a mix of :
"I missed you so mutch my little Wona."
Many excuses for letting Celestia use her elements when she was busy pollinating Equestrias less fertile regions and a mix of praise how good she looked after all she had to endure about the countless millenia on the Moon.

Obviously its still far from finished and I can't remember more from what I wrote before my mobil phone battery died while saving the progress... ...
Where was I? A yes, stop the self pity party and ask how it looks like so far?
Probably going to try get more done at the weekend though only if I find some free time.
If my new job actually works out I probably will change my current living arrangement.
Especially since my land lord is doing his best to make me consider moving elsewhere.
I am the last tenant of the up to 4 family holding appartements, making me guess that there are plans that need a free building.
Fortunately the contract allows me to stay for quite a while longer, explaining my current situation with my suddenly very aggressive landlord
