Progress, close to next chapter · 12:51am January 13th
Wrote 800 more words on Crystal Reincarnation today 
On top of that I also went through what I've already written, fixing spelling errors and making sure that it was coherent and consistent with the prior chapters. It's probably still not gonna be a masterpiece of any sort but I'm beginning to like it, so I think you might as well, I hope.
Gonna write probably about 1000 to about 2000 more words and then go through it all again fixing and editing anything that needs correction.
I have my final exam on Thursday next week, so I have to do some studying for that, which means I probably won't be able to write all that much in the following days, but I should be able to write more after I'm done with that. Regardless I'm beginning to get back into the groove of the story, getting to feel it again, fantasize about possibilities and whatnot.
For perhaps the first time ever since I started trying to write, I'm actually having a little bit of fun with it, not a lot but there is a certain challenge in trying to depict the perspectives of the characters in different ways, which I find to be somewhat rewarding. I've also done some personality tests and character building for both Flurry and Darrach, which makes it a little easier to write for them in a more consistent manner in regards to their individual personalities and quirks.

I never considered it dead myself, but I understand how it could be perceived that way. The inability to continue it filled me with a great deal of frustration and shame in the past... It never got off the ground due to some limitations that I've since discovered within my own psyche.
I've gotten some medicine to deal with some of those issues now, and with it I've got the tools and drive to try and pick up where I left off and write more for it.
I always found the concept I'd come up with fascinating to explore, but I doubted my own ability to do so. I've cast most of that doubt aside now, and embraced that perhaps I'll simply fail to make it the best it could possibly be. Better that it is written and not live up to it's full potential, than never written at all.
Still I'll try my best to make it memorable, interesting, engaging and a little fun here and there. Thanks for checking in after so long btw. I've no illusion of expectation that many people will necessarily care for an update to it. Still I'll dedicate the effort for those like you that might still have at least a faint interest in it.
