So I just had a thought. A stupid thought. A funny thought. What if I made it so Photo Finish becomes a foreign exchange student, or just another student, of Canterlot High School? Maybe Sapphire Shores as well?
Oh, and maybe Songbird Serenade too.

Are any of those fashion ponies unicorns? I forget. All four could have difficulty in the setting, but I can imagine MC being able to befriend them. But their adult personalities are not quite like Fancy Pants, Shining, or Cadence. Could be some drama in there to explore. 👍🏻

I was just thinking of Thomas at one point talking about foreign exchange students at some point and Celestia asking about it. Now while Celestia would love the idea of integrating other creatures into her school, seeing as the populace was mostly unicorns, would want to start small, and have some Earth ponies and Pegasi integrate into the school. This would be how those three, and possibly others, would end up meeting Thomas.

There’s definitely some tribal issues that could emerge, and their personalities will also be another variable being creative types as well as having different cultural backgrounds. It could be fun to explore these.
The local unicorns have been less than welcoming so far. Three of the ponies mentioned, we’ve never seen their whole faces. I… worry that they’ll be okay given MC’s experience.

The three won't have nearly as hard a time as him.

Well, it's not stupid. But could be funny if you mix it up with anime. Foreign exchange student makes a stunting entrance. Looks at everyone with a popstar smile on her face. She catches the eye of a certain student in the school. The student has mixed feels about her, both good and bad, mostly out of her league.
