Random Thought DC x DOOM · 1:04am February 7th
So I had this random thought laying in bed, and watching YouTube. If the Doom Slayer was transported to the DC universe at some point, would he be immediately given a Red Lantern ring? Here me out on this. The Doom Slayer is known for being 'to angry to die'. And we have all seen his boundless rage. So that begs the question, would that qualify him for a Red Lantern ring? I say yes, and the thought of the Doom Slayer with a Lantern ring who's only limit is the user's imagination and seeing as the red Ring's constructs are based of rage, his rage would fuel his contructs and basically make them indestructible.
So my final question is this, do you think the Doom Slayer is a candidate of a Red Lantern ring? And if so, what would he construct? And if not, what other ring color could be qualify for?
I think Doom Slayer would be a good candidate for both Green and Red Lantern rings, either or, not both at once. Think about it, it takes some serious willpower to stare hell itself, and its unyielding legion in the face, and brave through the things that colossal, heavily-armored, PTSD ridden, bunny loving super soldier born from god himself to punish the beasts wreaking and causing more havoc than a bull in a china shop.
Then again, losing his rabbit probably would've caused too much rage, and he'd be ripping and tearing till it's done. Either way, he's a pretty good candidate for his incredible willpower to push through all of that and kill his creator, as well for his unyielding rage and ability to literally punch a demon into pieces, and kill something that's supposed to be unkillable.
For the Red Lantern, I imagine he'd construct either the crucible, or the BFG-9000.
For the Green Lantern, I'd imagine he'd just construct his trusty super shotgun.

Great answer, but I think you are also thinking small scale. You've seen how massive the constructs of the rings could be, yes? And with the Doom Slayer having unyielding will power and unstoppable rage, his constructs could possibly be as large as a demonic Titan without compromising structural integrity of the construct. Like I said, rings are only limited by the imagination of it's wielder. I feel like hundreds of floating chainsaws would be something the Slayer would definitely summon.

Fair point, I guess I was being a bit too limited with what I thought possible. This is the same Doom slayer that shot himself out of a bigger version of the BFG and launched himself into a planet with the sole purpose of ruining the demons' day, and declaring himself as the only man who is figuratively & literally too angry to die.
