what if I wrote an alternative where Luna actually gave Ostri another chance? And overtime, Ostri figures out their relationship is completely bullshit?

i may have it end differently with Ostri dying in some way, shape or form. i may not. i mainly just wanna know your thoughts about this idea.

They were so happy in the beginning, and the rejection hit him hard. But I think he’d reach new levels to find out he’s been offered a sham, and it would probably all still stem from Celestia’s scheming and giving directions to Luna. I would read both but still want her to learn her lesson if it’s possible for her to do at this stage in her life.

I still think it's a mistake to cut his adventure in the ancient equestria short.

My opinion is you should considered making a divergent timeline that Ostri stayed in ancient Equestria. Continue from where they ostri first caught Chysalis.

• Drama about chysalis and royal sister's racism toward changeling.(unconventional hive system based on modern human's way of admistration)
• Kingdom building with inexperienced royal sisters.(swich from nobles to civilian coucil? Democratically elected prime minister? Intregrate other races into Equestria?)
• Hive building with young chysalis.
• Drama with Luna. Either stick with "Luna' love is fake" or "love triangle with Chysalis"
• Explorer our kitsune's past. To the foxxy homeland! The wound is still fresh and the drama is going to be better than thousand years after.
• Griffin empire. More war or peace talk?
• what's about Seaquestria?
• Racism that still exist between 3 pony tribes
• Starlight glimmer, but she was actually pre-reformed villian.
• Using modern human knowledge for more application other than explosive and war tactic. Food perservation? Reduce magic usage with crop rotation?
• Bring back the pillars and battle with pony of shadow.(accidents? Calculated risks? Ignorant of threat? Celestia and Luna just want their mentor's guiden?)
• Forcefully bring back crystal empire and battle with sombra.(to gain access to crystal empire's magictech or whatever other excuses)

The second book is good, but still. To cut off the first book like that... so much potential lost...
