Beware: The Bald Ostri Saga is coming back. · 7:47am May 10th
so, I've been rereading the Bald Ostrich title, New Horizons, and have been thinking that I should write for it again. Right now, I am currently just rewriting the existing chapters, while removing a couple, namely the ones where Ostri becomes an alicorn. I am still going to keep a few things the same. Once every chapter is rewritten/edited, I will start writing for it again and it will go back online. It maybe a tiny bit jarring; I like to believe I've gotten better at writing since I've unlisted it, so there maybe a jump in quality with the newer chapters, but I do just want to work on my world building skills, and New Horizons is the way forward for that.
This shouldn't affect Source Code, and while Well This Stinks already barely gets updates(coming up with jokes and trying to one up myself every chapter is hard, leave me alone), but New Horizons will go back online and will recieve updates periodically, hopefully in between the chapters of Source Code, as the chapters of Source Code, so far, have been much longer than most of the chapters in New Horizons by a landslide.
Luna will be called a bitch.
Celestia will be called a cunt.
Cadance and Shining Armor will still have tea with Ostri and Chryssy.
Blaze will steal somepony's socks.

Are you making it so ostri doesnt become an alicorn or are you reworking it? because ostri becoming an alicorn was something i liked as he was a freind to 2 immortals who missed him just to get him back and was the apex of pony war persons. Either way it will be nice to read about him again but i like the idea that celestia and luna mess up so bad and then he becomes an alicorn

i might have him become an alicorn again through similar means, ie, killing Tirek to death, but maybe tone down how strong he was. Ostri should not have been able to fully wipe the floor with Celestia, even if their duel was restricted to 'no magic'
edit: may also have change up the order in which Ostri goes through Equus. Maybe have him travel up north, then send him across the ocean to Equus's Europe/Asia

perhaps save him wiping the floor with celestia till after he visits the fox countrys. If you do a fight before then maby have him only win due to him knowing celestia and doing things she does not expect.
For drama you could have celestia and luna chase him to the fox country and have him accend there and them witness it
All right. Hopefully twilight will stop with the being a bad friend and learn that her behavior even if Celestia wants something is wrong. It was driving me nuts how she couldn't see what she was doing was wrong because Celestia wants this guy working for her.
