An update on the previous blog post (Bitchette/Washouts mixtape made) · 3:49am Nov 2nd, 2023

So I expected to, after writing my prior blog, I expected to do some writing. Instead, I finished the Bitchette/Washouts tape. I gotta say, I really like this one! Many images under the cut.

So here it is! We got one side for Bitchette and one side for The Washouts, each one showing their personal sort of style of punk music. This time I made a proper double sided J-card for it, which gave me plenty of room for extra shit like band credits and stuff.

I was also thinking, would like anyone be interested in buying one of these things? I obviously have the know-how on making these, and as I've been out of work for months while I work on school, I could use the money (I do not need the money, I'm fine, but a couple bucks here and there would help).

I would be selling the cassette recorded on a 90 min blank type II chrome tape recorded on my high end Nakamichi Cassette Deck 1 (so if you're insane like me and have a tape player for this sorta thing, it would actually sound pretty good!) because that's how long it is and those are the type of tapes I own lmao.

Also would have a J-card that I would be individually printing, likely on glossy or semi-gloss paper (pictured here is matte cardstock, but I'm thinking of switching to semi-gloss or glossy for a more professional look). Also I would want to figure out and make labels for this.

I'm thinking if I sell them, they'd be $6 + shipping, based on crunching a few numbers, but that is not a quote because I do have not factored in all costs properly. This is barely more than the cost of supplies, so like, I would also take tips if folks felt like doing that. Of course, this all presupposes anyone wants a goddamn WWB cassette of all things, but I dunno, could be a cool shelf item? Just putting feelers out there for it.
