    Calling for Requests

    Hello, everyone!

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve seen you all! Things have been a little hectic lately:twilightsheepish: My mother is recovering well and I have started a class that will (hopefully) help me should I choose to continue with a science field later on in life.

Hello, everyone!

Thank you all so much for reading and hanging on tight for the next chapters.

To get right into it, I am planning on challenging myself for the month of November and participating in NaNoWriMo for the first time!

For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a month where authors of all kinds dedicate the entire month of November to writing their novels. Or, in my case, fanfiction:rainbowlaugh:

Since this is my first time, and I completely forgot to prep during October, I'm instead going to use all my planning for Unseen, Unheard and try to finish the entire story during the month of November.

Now, some things that will entail:
1. You probably won't see a lot of me during November. With how intense NaNoWriMo can be, I may not get around to editing and revising chapters until I have met my word goals for the day.
a. Speaking of word goals, I will shoot for the standard 50,000 words, but will set milestones along the way to keep myself motivated and prevent burnout. If I finish the story before NaNoWriMo is over, or I need to do something other than writing to recharge/rest my fingers, then I will probably put out a chapter or two. We shall see!
2. Not every chapter will come out as soon as November's over. I'm planning at least three more illustrations for the rest of the story, not to mention any and all revision that will have to be done along with it.
3. Since there may not be a lot happening with the story during November, I will instead post blog updates every once in a while to give you guys a status update. Just a progress report, how many words I've written, how many chapters I've written, that kind of thing. You don't have to look at them, this is just something to keep myself accountable and on track.

If you want to or are participating in NaNoWriMo, I'd love to know! I've gotten some great tips for prep if you would like to try it out. I personally want to shoot for 50,000 words, but that's because I've surpassed that before outside of NaNoWriMo. If you have not tried this before/have not written that much before, don't sweat! If you want, just use this month as a challenge to yourself. Do something with your writing you've never done before. Try a new genre, write out that plot that's been tripping you up, write an action scene, write a romance scene, write a comedy, anything!

If you're stuck, don't hesitate to reach out to fellow writers. Be it me, or your friends, or your favorite author here on FimFiction! You never know who's got tips to get out of a funk and reignite the creative juices.

I know I'm just a small author here on FimFiction, but I love it when writers and storytellers reach new heights in their creativity and skills as storytellers.

[Checks notes: Make admittedly cringey call-to-action]
So, how about it? Let's push ourselves to do what we thought we never could! Hope to see you all soon, and can't wait to see who will try this out, too!

That sounds like a hard and fun goal. Good luck writing all those words! I'm excited to see how the rest of the story goes. :pinkiehappy: :scootangel:

This sounds like a great idea, and the perfect opportunity for me to pick up writing again.
Best of luck to you with your goals!
