Sorry for taking such a long time away. It was genuinely not my intention to be away this long. Chapter 17 is about halfway done, and the funk I fell into when George got sick bled into the holidays, and I unfortunately fell out of habit of writing a lot.

On top of this, I am currently in a different working situation and have also had to move back home due to financial difficulties.

Thank you all so much for your patience these past weeks!

I am thrilled to report George has made a wonderful recovery, and is doing much, much better!

With him now eating on his own (and gaining back the weight he lost while he was sick), overcoming jaundice, and now on a couple liver supports for the rest of his life, I can say the best outcome has been achieved, and George isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
